Noticed ID.me came up so jumped on it and got my order in that way saving 10%!

My pre-order with Apple was all set beforehand, when my Ipad Pro came up on Applse Store first - I began processing my order when it failed - once back in my pre-order information went poof!

Luckily I noticed ID.me had come up so luckily placed my order through them (dropping price from $1599 to $1439 -cost savings of $159.90 plus use of Apple Card saved me another 3% - total 13% savings) Took me until 631 AM MDT to finally get order placed. For me the Apple Store was almost non existent this morning!

Dang! October 4-October 9 delivery? Ouch. I'm so sorry. But hey! you got your order in and 10% discount. I wish I had received some sort of a discount.

I demanded a supervisor 3 times, and now a rep claims "there is a restriction on the account" preventing buying a phone anywhere other than T-Mobile.

Oh man, that’s really frustrating. Leave it to the carriers to complicate things.

How is it that two reps found no problems with my account, and now, suddenly there is a restriction blocking purchases outside the T-Mobile website? I spent hours going over this with T-Mo. And they promised me a callback this morning but never called

Thinking about contacting Apple to change my shipping from Standard to Express delivery. Not that it matters. but OCD is starting to kick in.

I have done that in the past, but it makes no difference if you have a 9/22 delivery date. It won’t come any sooner than that.

Do people with 512gb or 1TB not have iCloud? I’m a very heavy phone user but have 100gb free on my 256gb model since I have iCloud with optimize photo library

I decided to go 512 this year because of the new gaming potential. I have been playing Diablo Immortal on my phone/iPad and it has been great. So if gaming is going to get better, more storage might be nice. But I too have 100 gigs free on my 256 right now.

I have iCloud, but I always keep the fullsize versions of all my photos/videos on my phone for a couple of reasons. One is that i dont like waiting to download the fullsize when I need them, and the other is that I like having a "backup" copy of my originals on my phone in case something happens to the cloud photos.

I think it is a service for like people in the Military to be able to validate identity for discounts.

Decided to buy outright from Apple this year because Verizon credits span 36 months and I never keep a phone that more than 2 years.

Was rewarded with an absolute debacle and a bait and switch delivery date—in cart and in app order confirmation said release day, email and order status say October.

In the meantime I was forced to pre-order a Blue Titanium 15 Pro Max 256GB for in store pickup, because Natural Titanium was sold out. Only I couldn't connect this to my account, so I didn't get the trade in deal.
