This is why I like in store pickup. If you secure a time slot, you’re guaranteed a phone!
I'm still kind of nervous because last time I was at a store it was in line overnight and there were no preorders, you had to work for it. so I'm wondering if on Friday they will have two lines one for confirmed preorders and one for not or just one free for all line.

I still want to show up a little early and hang out.

iOS 17 is downloading/preparing/installing fast, well in comparison to previous updates.

iPhone first, then Apple Watch Ultra, then iPad Pro I go as far an updating devices. Apple TVs and everything else after work.
1 hour remaining on one I'm trying to update now very slow

Thanks -- yeah, I see that.

I was just curious where the UPS 176 that was sitting in Zhengzhou on 9/17 went? It showed it landed incoming from Seoul on 9/17, but then it never took off again from Zhengzhou. Now this other plane is incoming at UPS 176. It was a different model plane ... B744 vs the B748 that's about to land. I may just be creating drama for nothing since I apparently have nothing better to do on a Monday 🤣
It was back in Louisville yesterday. This is a different aircraft entirely.

In my experience, there are two lines. One for preorders, the other for walkups. I’m sure each Apple Store does something similar. And if you secured a time slot, they are not giving your iPhone away, unless lets say you don’t show up for a week or something ridiculous.
