Are you going to order the new iPhone 15?

I had an Apple Watch replacement device return get stolen by someone working at FedEx. Thankfully I dropped off the order and had them print me a confirmation receipt showing they received it. I had to talk with Apple Support like 10 times while they were investigating the issue before they finally confirmed that I was in the clear. Such an annoying issue to deal with.
I always get a printed receipt just for that reason-on any returns via ups, fedex, Amazon etc

Everyone will remain in Preparing to Ship status until our phones have cleared customs in Louisville. However if you have a UPS MyChoice account, you should be able to see tracking from the origin in China, which is what we're all watching.
I am not seeing anything on my UPS MyChoice account..

Who needs complications when you have SNOOPY?!

Complications just makes it complicated I mean geez.

I've dropped the trade-in at UPS store, since UPS delivered the kit. Just slapped the label on and head to the store, where they stare at me and say they can't accept it. Why, what's wrong? That's a FedEx shipment, sir!! So embarrassing.
Wasn't it one year, too, where FedEx lost your Trade-in ...or FedEx had a bunch go "missing"? It sucked because your trade-in couldn't complete - or you couldn't get the refund back until it did?

Forgot to add Apple was great. They called and asked me if I had returned the phone. I said “yes, I have the receipt”. They said “OK, thank you” and my return was immediately credited on the Apple site

Steve wanted to do this for the first iMacs, and he would have dressed up like Wonka, but he changed his mind because some laws in CA required no purchase necessary, and he wanted the winner to be an Apple user.
It's a shame he didn't go through with it. Even if they had to make one golden ticket available for a "no purchase necessary" winner, that could have eventually turned into a future Mac sale. I didn't become a fan of Apple until I purchased my own iMac G5. But before then, I never thought I'd ever become a Apple fan.

Mine was not that easy unfortunately, but I was the one to call them. I got an email that said I had 10 days left to return my device otherwise I would be charged and I was like "Hmmm, this is SUS - I returned that two weeks ago"

They had to do a full investigation with FedEx before they told me I was in the clear. I would say that they were very nice and once I was working with someone from their support team, they kept me working with the same person - so no needing to update a new person each time it was passed off to a different person.

Gotta run to the store for a few. We have no food, and I’m going to need something to snack on if I’m gonna sit here scrolling. Why don’t y’all leave here and go play with all the new OS while I’m gone…at least try and keep it to a manageable 20 pages, please.

Same! I have a stupid last-minute conference to attend tomorrow. I shouldn't have signed up for it. So most likely I'll be gone too. My worst fear coming back 50 pages behind.

Flight Tracking Update - 2:15PM CDT

The Flight That You've Been Waiting For

Our flight out of China is finally here. You can wait for the target to appear on FlightRadar24 or keep refreshing the page on FlightAware (it will currently show the one it has a flight plan on for later to ANC). Expect departure scans to happen +/- 45 minutes from estimated departure time below.

UPS175 | N611UP | CGO-ICN | Estimated | Departure: 4:00AM CST | Arrival: 6:45AM KST

This puts that departure around 3PM CDT/4PM EDT. Similar to the inbound flight, this flight will not appear until it is airborne and will not have a destination listed. Also keep in in mind that the tracking coverage in China is not great. It may be 45 minutes before the track populates on FlightAware.

ICN-ANC

The following flight from Seoul to Anchorage has been populated. That flight is scheduled with the following:

UPS175 | N611UP | ICN-ANC | Scheduled | Departure: 8:45AM CST | Arrival: 11:30PM AKDT

You can track that flight here.

ANC-SDF

Our flight from Anchorage to Louisville has populated. That flight is scheduled with the following:

UPS175 | N611UP | CGO-ICN | Scheduled | Departure: 1:14AM AKDT | Arrival: 11:10AM EDT

You can track that flight here. The next step after this flight is an import scan. The phones will then sit in Louisville until Thursday night when they make their way to the final destination.

Further Updates

I'll do another full update this evening. I have to head out to work, so happy tracking! I'll try to stay in the loop for questions here and there though.

That's an interesting workaround and I wish I'd thought of that. I'm glad that worked for you. But after putting me through the ringer with the whole process, I'm definitely not going back to Verizon.
I can't blame you, they want to keep you hooked any way they can. My plan is cheap, that's the only reason I hold onto it, but it offers nothing, no percs or offers to take advantage of. That's another reason I don't want to be under contract, if I decide to leave I'm free to go.

No promises! Let us know what tasty snacks you get! I might go raid the office snack drawer for something to munch on once I finish my hummus and carrots.
