Flight Tracking Update - 2:15PM CDT

The Flight That You've Been Waiting For

Our flight out of China is finally here. You can wait for the target to appear on FlightRadar24 or keep refreshing the page on FlightAware (it will currently show the one it has a flight plan on for later to ANC). Expect departure scans to happen +/- 45 minutes from estimated departure time below.

UPS175 | N611UP | CGO-ICN | Estimated | Departure: 4:00AM CST | Arrival: 6:45AM KST

This puts that departure around 3PM CDT/4PM EDT. Similar to the inbound flight, this flight will not appear until it is airborne and will not have a destination listed. Also keep in in mind that the tracking coverage in China is not great. It may be 45 minutes before the track populates on FlightAware.

ICN-ANC

The following flight from Seoul to Anchorage has been populated. That flight is scheduled with the following:

UPS175 | N611UP | ICN-ANC | Scheduled | Departure: 8:45AM CST | Arrival: 11:30PM AKDT

You can track that flight here.

ANC-SDF

Our flight from Anchorage to Louisville has populated. That flight is scheduled with the following:

UPS175 | N611UP | CGO-ICN | Scheduled | Departure: 1:14AM AKDT | Arrival: 11:10AM EDT

You can track that flight here. The next step after this flight is an import scan. The phones will then sit in Louisville until Thursday night when they make their way to the final destination.

Further Updates

I'll do another full update this evening. I have to head out to work, so happy tracking! I'll try to stay in the loop for questions here and there though.
Wonderful- Captain, Thank you again for the update. I'll keep everyone posted.

I think FedEx sent me my tracking for iPhone 15 Pro, what do you all think?

Gotta run to the store for a few. We have no food, and I’m going to need something to snack on if I’m gonna sit here scrolling. Why don’t y’all leave here and go play with all the new OS while I’m gone…at least try and keep it to a manageable 20 pages, please.

Same! I have a stupid last-minute conference to attend tomorrow. I shouldn't have signed up for it. So most likely I'll be gone too. My worst fear coming back 50 pages behind.
Ok fine I'll pick the kid up from the bus stop and get some actual work done for a bit. You have less than 2 hours lol

Wasn't it one year, too, where FedEx lost your Trade-in ...or FedEx had a bunch go "missing"? It sucked because your trade-in couldn't complete - or you couldn't get the refund back until it did?
Haven’t experienced any problems with missing trade-ins, knock on wood. There was one trade-in I didn’t want shipped so I dropped into Apple Store and asked them to do it. Their system wouldn’t allow them to accept it, since the trade-in kit had shipped. They conferred and pushed it through as a separate transaction and credited my Apple Card.

I do that every year and even though the few days between iOS release and iPhone release is difficult, it always makes it so worth it. New hardware with new software makes the experience so much more exciting!
I am terrible at waiting haha
I almost always run the beta so I can try out the new features. It also lets me be a better office and family tech support person though 😂

Mmm, that was a good day. Sadly I think iOS has grown too large and complex to ever get another system wide refresh like that again.
That is like Microsoft saying Windows 10 is the last operating system, eventually we will get a system refresh just like there was a Windows 11. With the Vision Pro being on its way, it wouldn't surprise me if we have some sort of a major visual overhaul, something like an Augmented Reality springboard/desktop on the iPhone that uses the rear camera to make it look like your apps/folders are floating over the enviornment.

That is correct. Wave 1 or Wave 2 will determine which UPS aircraft you will be departing from in China.

I was very sad last year some people did actually receive their iPhones the following day on Saturday. UPS was just too slammed and overloaded that way and the drivers gave up. I don't wish that experience upon anyone. Especially in here.
1st world problems when a phone arrives a day late and it causes an emotional upheaval.
