That is correct! Apple usually separates the consumer's orders v/s retail orders.

Apple sometimes charters flights for retail stock since they have to be sorted less

Honestly, something also tells me UPS Scans are behind and they are lagging especially for Wave 1. That's my assumption tho.

In past years, my trade in kit has come via FedEx. I was just wondering about that earlier today, haven't seen anything yet.

That's true for me except for last year. The reason why I remember is because my UPS trade it box got stuck in the city closest to me. It just sat there for days. I wondered what had happened to it. At the same time, I was keeping an eye on the Fedex app because I was awaiting something else. I noticed that a package shipped from me was on the way back to AI. What?! I figured out that it was the empty return box that had never made it to me. The return label is under the label that was addressed to me, and the top label must have been ripped off or otherwise dislodged. So...UPS saw the Fedex label, transferred to Fedex and let it go. That was an interesting call that I had to make to Apple about it. Luckily, they understood and sent me a new box, that also came UPS.

So I've had nothing but crap luck trying to get my tracking number for my iPhone (15 Pro 256gb Black Titanium), I was able to confirm shipping on my finewoven case. It shows ETA for tomorrow flying into the Houston area from Louisville.

I also found the flight from Louisville to Houston scheduled today. Aircraft is an MD11 N257UP which is 31 years old so its an old bird for sure. Scheduled to arrive 5:51PM CST.

If all is correct, that should be the plane that has my case and should be ready for delivery tomorrow to my front door.

Source please - either from Apple, UPS or both. Not a 3rd party and not a phone call "from a friend".

Apple doesn't have control over any of that.

But they can, as Apple is the shipper, they have control over what can be done with their package they slip.

Just like Lenovo, I’ve ordered through them and there was no option for ups cc hold. Contacted ups and they said that Lenovo had placed a restriction. Contacted Lenovo and their CS does suck.

I have a feeling that apple may also have restrictions, and well technically they did had the restrictions last year and few years prior as when I call them they they said there were restrictions who knows. 🤷🏻‍♂️

That is like Microsoft saying Windows 10 is the last operating system, eventually we will get a system refresh just like there was a Windows 11. With the Vision Pro being on its way, it wouldn't surprise me if we have some sort of a major visual overhaul, something like an Augmented Reality springboard/desktop on the iPhone that uses the rear camera to make it look like your apps/folders are floating over the enviornment.

Yes, it does. The problem is when you are on the strip. You can't see it. It's kinda of hidden. But can be seen from everywhere else
