Has anyone pre-signed/authorized release for delivery of their new iPhones? I Just want to be sure it's delivered with no hiccups since I'd like to have it before going out of town the following week. I live in a building with controlled access and UPS has been pretty good about delivering here but I'm still a bit wary. UPS has a fob that lets them get into the building but I'm not sure they'd come all the way up to my floor to deliver it right to my door. UPS did last year for the 14 Pro but my friend had that route so he came directly to my door.
I really hated to leave the Spa at the JW but rushing to the airport and made the flight.

Funny you say that. We'll literally be at a spa at a JW on 9/25, so it'll be nice if everything stays on schedule.

I was able to get UPS My Choice to work without errors by using my sister‘s address, which is where my package is going. Used the UPS app. I still need a tracking or reference number. I will just wait until I get a tracking number in my email from UPS.
There were delayed scans yes. But if you have not received a Departure Scan. Most likely you are still stuck in China. Will know more once UPS 175 arrives to S. Korea.
I wonder if it's true they were fired... there union is pretty strong. Firing isn't "easy"

UPS 175 will be in Kentucky in like 17 hours. Sweet!
I used to work for a large pharmaceutical company and had a meeting with some upper management with several couriers, including UPS. They told me they fired a few hub managers for not holding their teams accountable and allowed devices to be delivered early.
I was at a spa at the JW Marriott in Mumbai India 19 years ago. It was wonderful until I jumped into what I thought was the hot tub but was actually the cold tub.

Oh I'm sure Apple has a good contract with them and they should honor it. I just knew a shop steward for them and some of the things the Union guys could get away with was just amazing to hear.

I hope reviewers go in depth on Smart HDR 5 on the 15 Pro vs Smart HDR 4 on the 14 Pro -- it's arguably more important than the new telephoto. Zone of Tech do a great job with side by side comparisons every year and I really enjoy Max Tech's blind test, but we'll have to wait until after the release for that unfortunately.
I like Marques, I've been watching him since he was a teenager before he went to college, but some of his reviews are a bit phoned in these days, not really going into much depth. I suspect his iPhone review this year will be the same, a general overview with a few pictures from the 5x telephoto, concluding with the standard "if you're upgrading from an older iPhone, it's good"
