Are you going to order the new iPhone 15?

My US wave 2 still shows sitting in China. Is that normal or did I get left behind?
It's normal. We are not too sure yet. Either you guys got left behind or scan is lagging. We will know more about it once UPS 175 lands in S. Korea. Should be landing shortly.

I have no clue what all the flights mean. Congrats everyone.

My mom had a 5:03 am preorder and her Citizens One loan has not been approved yet.
I had a 5:21 am preorder and my Citizens One loan was approved this morning.

No shipping updates for either of us yet on Apple.com or UPS.

iPhone 15 128g set for 9/22 delivery and still no tracking. Starting to get worried :/
Wondering if the 15 and 15 Plus are already sitting in a distribution center in the US waiting to ship out. Seems like they are going to have to start refining their shipment workflow if they move everything over to marine shipping instead of getting phones to the US on planes.

So I’m just faux-shopping on apple right now and you can’t order the stainless steel Apple Watch. Is there something I don’t know?

hi all,

i was hoping the folks here who have intimate and historical knowledge of apple's shipping times could help me with an order timing issue that i'm dealing with.

i am currently out of the country and will be returning to the US (Los Angeles, CA) on 10/25 for a 2 week stay. my pre-order (blue 15 pm 512) currently has an arrival estimate of 10/17-10/24 which is perfect if accurate. the timing of the shipment is important because it includes a trade-in. according to apple's policy, i have 14 days (after receiving the new phone) to return my trade-in phone in order to receive the credit, and if i fail to send the phone during that 14 day window the trade-in will be voided.

so unlike the majority of the posters here, i desperately DO NOT want my phone to ship out early! if it arrives too early there is a chance that i will not be able to complete the trade-in. if it arrives too late (past november 7th) i will miss out on the phone altogether.

in your opinion, should i stick with my order and trust that the arrival time estimate of 10/17-10/24 will be accurate? or is there a big chance that the order ships early and that it arrives much earlier?

i cancelled and re-ordered once already (yesterday) to get a later shipping estimate close to my arrival date. i could do it again, but i saw that a new order placed today would result in the same arrival estimate. and i could cancel and re-order much later, but risk there being a huge delay on future orders that go past my 2-week US visit.

what do most people say? are the arrival estimates usually spot on, purposefully pessimistic (so the phone arrives earlier) and by how many days, or often too optimistic (phone arrives later) ?

thanks everyone!

I tried ordering the first day they came available. It showed all in-store not available and wouldn't be delivering until October.
I just re-did everything to see if delivery would be closer - but I noticed now it says in-store pick-up available 9/22. However, before I could see all the stores near me, but now there isn't the tab to see the listings. Are there actual new available ones in store?

Is there a reason you couldn't order for pickup at an apple store?

If your phone is Canada bound, it will start adding some confusion on this particular thread. From your link of UPS 81, the next stop is Ontario, California - so you may go through there, or deplane and get loaded onto a different flight.

My guess is that flight is unrelated, since from my Googling typically after arriving in Alaska packages will end up in Louisville since it's UPS' main hub. From there they sort 'em and ship em out to where they need to go.
