It’s normal. We all have fun tracking, but in reality 99.9999% of phones arrive on Friday. Your phone could just be on a slightly different route, or not scanned somehow, or any number of various scenarios.

That would explain any confusion about shipping information. This thread is primarily focused on folks who ordered through Apple.com - but everyone is of course welcome to hang out. You are just going to have different tracking information and flights than the majority of ppl here.

Is there a reason you couldn't order for pickup at an apple store?

thanks, i didn't seriously consider that option; maybe because i didn't see that it was available or maybe it said available on 9/22 which does not work for me.

are you allowed to pick the pickup date and choose one arbitrarily in the future?
do you know how long the store will hold on to the phone for you to pick it up before cancelling the order?
