If it isn't too far out of your way, you could re-direct it to a UPS CC (Hub) and it would NOT be delayed. Then you could pick it up as soon as it opens on Friday!
I wonder how we will know, besides a tracking number appearing, that JOD phone has shipped, since it was no charge on cc?
For mine, they assessed a down payment. I would have been fine if it was for the higher capacity, but they were charging $180 down for the 64GB (when they told me that was for the 256... Part of the issue in my phone possibly not arriving by launch because we had to discuss that for another 10 mins.. Kept putting me on hold when they did this too)
I'm really hoping they're just overestimating, but since I haven't been charged yet, I'm a little concerned. I guess I'll wait until Wednesday and if nothing happens by then I'll assume that I'm not getting my 11 PM on Friday.
That would be pretty cool. That means UPS has to ship 2 day air on Wednesday and next day air on Thursday. For the ones that live in the surrounding states and close to the UPS hub in Georgia, they may get their phones a day sooner.
Day sooner is HIGHLY unlikely. They accidentally did that I believe for an iPhone 6 launch and got slapped hard on the wrist by Apple. Samsung is happy to let your have your phone when the carrier decides to give it to you, but all shippers sign a contract with Apple to not release devices until their launch date and not a minute sooner.
A day sooner than a later ship date, however, would be possible.
I have tracking with UPS choice, my card is still pending and my order status changed from preorder to being processed. Even though my original shipping date changed from 21-24 September to no shipping date, that UPS tracking is good enough for me.
I've had pre orders for iPhones from T Mobile have 2nd air and shipped the night before release date and it got to me in time. I'm in Utah so I'm not close to the T Mobile hub in IN.
This is not at all unusual. There's really no reason to panic until you wake up on Friday morning because there is so much late movement.
I just got the "Your new device has shipped" email, and my status on MyTmobile has changed to shipped(I ordered around 1:36pm est on 9/13/19, and originally had a date range of 9/21-9/24.
Ship date of 9/25-10/1 no charge yet. Lady on the phone took so damn long making mistakes that i didnt get my order in till about 9am EST. 256gb Green PRO
Same boat. Kept putting me on hold so my 11 PM wasn't in until 8:44am Eastern. My 11 shows no shipping info either though, but I have a tracking number from AI in Louisville. Either one of my phones or my Watch direct from Apple.
same mine was confirmed at 8:20am eastern i also ordered a gold 11 pro max 256gb at 8:45am and already was charged and have a tracking
nah only charged for gold not midnight green but i have 9/21-9/24 for the green so im hoping they push it up to get it friday
Same here. I have an 11 64GB Green charged with MyChoice tracking and a 9/20 ship date. No activity as of yet on my 11 Pro Max 256GB Midnight Green.
