If you go into your trade in under the Orders page, there should be an option to change trade in method.Got my tracking number for FedEx on Sunday at around 6:30 PM US EST. Ordered my 15 PM on launch day for delivery on 9/22. One question though - when I ordered, I selected them to send me a trade in kit so I could send back my 12 PM via shipper. However, reading these comments, sounds like dropping my current phone off at a Verizon store would have been a better move (less chance for it to get lost and also gets processed quicker). Any chance Verizon will let me change it to drop off? I really don't want to touch anything at this point until I get the phone but once I do I may contact them and see if they can change my return of my existing phone for trade in from shipping to drop off. Any thoughts on that?

I have a similar thought to you, especially waiting until everything is delivered. But, part of me thinks if I switch to in store, I’m about to deal with alerts about how I didn’t mail it in. May just go with how I originally set it up and mail in.

I've been trying to place an order through apple.com (already placed one through Verizon.com). When I try to place it through apple.com (financed with Verizon + trade in), I get this message. They also tend to update in batches based on model. If they're preparing 1TB Blue PMs, everyone with that model and a 9/22 delivery date all generally get shipping info around the same time.
