That’s how I look at it. All those who bought the models on launch day were the guinea pigs for us who got ours at a later date, lol.Yeah. I chose Blue because It's one of my favorite colors and it looked sexy from what the youtubers and reviewers showed me. Sorry, but I don't follow the trend where people go, "omgwtflol, you gotta buy Natural or White." That's just not who I am. If in a different timeline, they had chosen to go with Green titanium instead of Blue... I would have chosen that over anything else, honestly. Green is my other favorite color. It's why before they announced the 3-year promotion, My original plan was to get the iPhone 15 Plus in Green. So Blue didn't move as the other colors... It happens. I'm not mad about it. It just means I gotta wait a little longer. The upside to all of this is that the overheating fix will be available when the 15PM is in my hands.
And it will mostly likely come with the update pre installed. My best friend who happened to be my cat died this year and he was all white. That’s why I chose white this year as sort of a weird remembrance of him. Otherwise I would’ve gotten blue or black but the one year I do choose white it’s impossible to find. Verizon gave you the run around so that’s sent you to the back of the line a few times. Not a good year at all.Yeah. Yeah, it was either order online or wear a bulletproof vest to the Apple Store at the mall. You figure out which one I wanted to do in the end. They had to redo my preorder four times because they kept screwing up what I was asking for. Over the phone we had to explain to them carefully that I wanted 256gb Blue Titanium over and over again and again. They were like "Our bad." The fourth time? "Failed payment." The crazy part? It wasn't through Apple Pay or Card. It was through a regular credit card. I'm not joking here. And it will mostly likely come with the update pre installed. I canceled mine as soon as the email hit that my order from 9/19 with ETA of 10/6 was pushed back to 10/27. I'm now swiping like crazy on the apple store app trying to see if I can pick up locally. my order was PM NTi 256.I’m thinking of cancelling Verizon online order and picking up through best buy. Any thoughts?
any reason for not checking Best Buy?I canceled mine as soon as the email hit that my order from 9/19 with ETA of 10/6 was pushed back to 10/27. I'm now swiping like crazy on the apple store app trying to see if I can pick up locally. my order was PM NTi 256.
So some Pros are moving in white but no pro maxes it looks like. Glad you got your phone in a timely manner! Hopefully some of these pro maxes in any color start moving at Verizon. And my iPhone 15 Pro White titanium ordered on 9/27 was delivered about an hour ago! Original ship on date was 10/13. Activation went fine with eSIM transfer from my 14 Pro. It’s now doing the restore.
It's their fault (Apple and Verizon) for not being prepared to handle the surge of people signing up for that 3-year promotion. They didn't think that many people would be willing to commit to a 3-year contract. This caused so many system glitches (Happened to my order) and so many failed payments. They should have invested into more servers and making sure enough shipments of iPhones was available at launch. At this point. I’m really starting to blame Verizon for over selling their stock in hopes they would get enough incremental refreshes of stock. Apple dropped the ball too. How could they not foresee the pro max being so popular. You give it an exclusive feature (5x lens) then wonder why everyone wants that one? Seems like poor planning no business in their right mind would shoot themselves in the foot like this. I’ll patiently wait for updates. But Verizon really needs to get on the ball. They’re losing post paid customers every quarter and now I can see why. They’re not organized and efficient like they used to be.
Yeah you would think a business would make sure their payment system works properly. Don’t they want money? 🤔It's their fault (Apple and Verizon) for not being prepared to handle the surge of people signing up for that 3-year promotion. I mean, Apple is a great company; Verizon on the other hand is a mixed bag company. They should have known that people would want to own a 15PM at $11 bucks per month for 3 years. They should have known given that most Americans are either Middle Class or just below the poverty line but no they just figured their promotion would have worked flawlessly. And The reason the 15 PM isn't moving much for some people (like us) is because Apple decided to lock the 5x Periscope camera and several other features to only the PM and leaving the other 3 iPhone models in the dark. That forced people to buy the PM more than the regular pro phone.Yeah you would think a business would make sure their payment system works properly. Don’t they want money? 🤔
Oh jeez. Was it Apple Card or another card? I used Apple Pay and Apple Card. Keep checking my order but it says everything is in order. The transaction fell off my Apple Card last Monday and not a peep since. Thanks for the info.I randomly checked my order on the account and saw it was put on hold (paid with Apple Pay) so probably the temporary transaction fell off. Just paid things and hope it’ll arrive on 13th Oct.
Nope, it was an Amex paid with Apple Pay. I recommend calling them and checking on the order because on the screen it said to complete the payment before October 5th, but this showed up just on October 7th.Oh jeez. Told you it's not just Apple Card. Remember the part about "system glitches" that I was alluding to? Well, there you go. People signing up for the 3-year contract overloaded the systems.Oh jeez. The only card I heard worked was Apple Card. From the Verizon forums on Reddit. One person had theirs go through and they used Apple Card. Everyone else had different CCs that failed. Either way that payment option should just be completely removed for preordersTold you it's not just Apple Card. Remember the part about "system glitches" that I was alluding to? Well, there you go. Correct. My CC was from one of the big banks and it still failed to go through. You know both Apple and Verizon won't disable that payment option because 1) People rely on CC or Debit Cards for their online shopping 2) the 3-year monthly plan is their most successful promotion in a long time and they aren't going to abandon both for next year's iPhone models. The only card I heard worked was Apple Card. On launch day, I remember I had an online order, but my store had stock. Even after cancelling the order, the cancellation before shipment didn’t clear the trade in offer slot for my account. So even though it would show $830 trade in credit for me online, it didn’t let me complete the transaction to pay taxes with multiple cards. In store, when the rep checked, he mentioned the elevated trade in offer wasn’t showing for that line. So they created a new line to get it and cancelled the old one.Correct. Nah it has more to do with errors in their systems. The last rep we talked with on the fifth try straight up admitted that they have errors in their systems. On launch day, I remember I had an online order, but my store had stock. I felt the payment failed online is a blanked error message that hides some other errors in the order from the consumer.
