I find it really funny that we pick a color at all, I'm including myself in that. My 13 Pro is graphite, probably my least favorite color of all, my Pre-Order is Titanium Blue 256 Pro Max.
I realized last time when the 13 Pro was so popular and in short supply, that color really doesn't matter at all since I put a case on it and can change cases and case color anytime I feel like it. So I carefully made sure I ordered a blue one. lol
If I ever get this one I may get a clear case at some point though and do some original artwork on the inside. In that instance then the pretty blue just might really make a difference.

I never use a case, or a screen protector for that matter. Never have, never will. Completely ruins the sleek feel of the phone to me.

So, color matters to me.

I had a comedy show of errors on Tuesday trying to order a 15PM. First I saw my local Best Buy had model I wanted in stock. I ordered the phone and all seemed normal. However, about an hour later the order was cancelled by Best Buy because the "couldn't activate the phone". So now of course I want to re-order. But I can't because I have a pending order on my line.

I called Verizon, they said it could take 24 hours for that to drop off, provided Best Buy cancels the order properly in the system. A few hours later I decided to call Verizon back to see if they could clear the pending order from my line. After an hour or so, and I must admit a very helpful agent, she was able to clear the pending order. I then decided to order directly from the Verizon website because I see the model I want is in stock at a store that isnt too far. I order the phone for express pick up and check out my order status. It says the phone is backordered and will ship by Oct. 27. What?? How was it available to order if it was backordered. I call Verizon again, the agent calls the "supervisor" of the store and they told him while the phone is not in stock they are expecting a "big" shipment today (this was already 5PM on Tuesday). I then proceeded to call the store directly and they told me they have no 15PM's in stock and have no idea when they are getting them in. I asked how come it shows that your store has stock on the Verizon website? The rep had no clue and just said they dont have them.

OK, so I cancelled that order, and said forget it, Ill just order for delivery and end this misery. The phone I wanted says it ships between 10/6 and 10/20. I ordered and the order page shows a ship date of 10/20. So now I have a few weeks wait. Hopefully it ships before 10/20. Its a Blue 256GB 15PM.

After ordering through Best Buy, Verizon, and Apple over the years, I have to say that Apple consistently provides the best experience. Also always avoid the device payment plan and order unlocked. It saves so much potential headache.

That was just what I was thinking after all of this. I keep checking the stock at Apple because I will order one unlocked and pay in full and then proceed to cancel my Verizon order if I can find it.

I would bet it’s immensely popular with the female crowd. My current 13 pro is silver and while I liked it, I would have rather gotten graphite in retrospect. That’s why I went with the blue, reminded me so much of the pacific blue I loved on the 12 pro series.
oh yeah, could be. since 15 has the pink, the white might be the closest in the Pro lineup. Blue does look nice tbh, I wish Apple would have display units out before pre-order so we could check out the colors in person.

Definitely agree. Before this year, Apple Store was great compared to what I went through with Verizon.

Keep checking throughout the day and you might get lucky for an in-store pickup.

what can they do? I'm seriously curious..are they withholding stock from consumers?
prob the store will just say can't help you, and ask to call customer service and cancel the order. And maybe wait 24 hours for the offers and line to clear up to be eligible for the offers. :D

That's the rumor going around. Even Verizon cancelled my last order for the 15 PM due to "failed payment." I had to reorder it.

EDIT: they might help me with the order then give me my phone.

Only reason I ordered through verizon directly vs apple is that my loyalty offer with vzw is that they value my 11PM for $1K vs $830 so there's that... I think that $170/36mos comes out to almost $4.8/mo x 36mos. The way I look at it is that I'm gonna stay with them for the foreseeable future anyway so might as well milk it for what it's worth.

At this point it's not about the $$ anymore but principle... 😂😂😂

but we'll see on 10/6.. 😂😂
But AT&T has a better network so might have to switch

Kind of, if you were to for delivery. But if you are doing an in store pickup, and store has stock. You'll in luck and be able to pickup in an hour or two.

It all depends on the area. AT&T is awful where I live. They have great coverage but it doesn’t work half the time. T-Mobile also suffers the same problem here in north western Connecticut. All the carrier have dead spots up here still but Verizon has upgraded to ultra wideband on most of the towers here and it’s super fast and reliable.

So my point is try out AT&T first before switching and try it out everywhere you go and see if it’s better unless you already know at that point switch. Best of luck to you!

If my PM doesn’t ship I’ll definitely walk into my local Verizon store unannounced with the online order in hand.
Definitely keep us posted! Trust me I get the frustration with being left in the dark since pre-order up until last night. I hope you get yours soon!

Did yours arrive ? And if so everything smooth ?
It hasn’t arrived yet. I just got the shipping notification last night. There was the scan last night at 7:39 pm but there probably won’t be anything further until tonight. It shows estimated delivery date of tomorrow, but I probably won’t be able to get it until Saturday regardless as we have a lot of errands to run Friday when we get off work. I’ll definitely keep you posted and let you know once I have it in my hands, though!
