I have a problem with viber on my iPhone 4 since two days ago. It suddenly stop working with a pop up messege that says no connectivity, please check your connection and try again. My connection has not change since two days before it worked. But i check everything even my routers firewall. I reinstall it and again when I enterd my number the same popup messege came through! I live in Iran but I'm sure that this is not the reason cuz my friends are using viber hear. Please help, it's very important for me. Thanks.

It could be that the network you are connected to is blocking Viber's traffic.

1. First, please try uninstalling and reinstalling Viber when connecting to a few different WiFi networks (in order to pinpoint the source of the problem). What are the results?
2. Also, please make sure the following ports are enabled ("forwarded") on your routers or firewalls:
TCP: 5242 + 4244
UDP: 5243 + 9785

(if you are not sure how to enable ports, you may contact your router manufacturer)

I have done all your options before. The ports are open. I tried 3 different wifi networks but it doesn't work. When someone call my viber, it rings!!!!! But it cannot connect to its server. There is another one who have the same problem and the same phone!

Exactly the same problem with my Viber and Iphone 4 IOS 6 . Also note that my wife and son are using Viber using the same WiFi network which mine is not working and all the time I'm receiving " No connectivity " Error so there is no issue with firewall ports and network , as my wife and son are using viber using the same network . Also only my IOS is 6.1.2 , but their IOS is 6.0.1 !!! so it can be IOS problem ?

About a month ago, Viber was blocked in Iran completely (and all of the users received the same error message you see now). Then, it seemed like it was working again.

Maybe the block is back in place now? Have you checked with your Internet Service Provider?

Please test Viber on a few different WiFi networks, in order to rule out the possibility that it is a problem with your specific network.

I don't think so! People here are useing this app! My friend and I have iPhone and the same problem but Im not sure if its the reason of " No Connectivity " error! Others with HTC and samsung phones are using this app without problem! That' s very odd. I hope it works again.

Last time, as well, it seemed like the block was "gradual" and was not affecting everyone in Iran at once.

We join your hopes that this is not the case. Unfortunately, there is nothing more that we can suggest in the case that you keep getting the "no connectivity" error. It is out of our hands

viber was working perfectly then in the middle of a conversation it stopped sending messages and i tried to call a friend the message "No service There seems to be a problem connecting to viber's service. Please check your connection and try again"
Needless to say that all other internet requiring apps are working!
additional info: phone: iPhone 5, country: germany, network: O2

This might happened due to a momentary server issue, or a network issue.
Please try to restart Viber, then try again.

If it still doesn't work, test Viber on a few different WiFi networks. What are the results?

Your device has a Inter processor, and this might be the source of the problem.

What error message exactly are you getting when trying to call someone through Viber?

Hey I got confused I don't understand why it doesn't work!!!! Is it possible that viber has a problem with iPhone?! Here in Iran I asked many of viber users. Those who have iPhone have the same problem as I. Other cellphones work good! So what can you guess? Why this " no connectivity" error appears whenever I open viber?!

Ok so I'm just wondering if its possible for someone to hack into your viber account? Cuz I'm pretty sure it happened to me... My friend that I was chatting with said they seen a pic of some random guy as my display picture.. And they took a screen shot and sent it to me.. I have never in my life seem this guy, not do I have any pic of him on my phone.. So how would it be possible for someone to put a pic of a random guy on viber for my display pic? I didn't know this I thought I had my picture up there.. And I saw it as my pic... But my friend saw it as this random guy.. So again is it possible for someone to hack into your viber account and change your display picture without you seeing or knowing?

First, please test Viber on a few different WiFi networks in order to find the source of the problem.

In the past, Iran already blocked Viber. It might be that the block is back now, and it affects users gradually (not all at once). Unfortunately, if this is the case, then we (Viber) have nothing to do to help

Then i deleted the viber from my ipod and re installed it from the apple store again. I tried to setup my viber, i put my phone number in order to recieve a message showing my passcode ! But it didn't work, the viber application gives me no connectivity whenever i do that!
Me and my friends are facing the same problem. PleAse i need ur helpp

It seems like once again, the authorities in Lebanon have decided to block Viber in the whole country, and that is why you are experiencing this issue. Unfortunately there is not much we can do to help

You may try contacting the authorities and ask for the reason for this block.

No connectivity

Hi,
two days ago i updated my iphone 4 to IOS6, since then viber has stopped working showing "No connectivity" error.
I tried re-installing the app, also i tried it on different wifi networks but the problem persisted.
I Live in Lebanon and Viber is working normally with my friends who use the same network.
Please help.

Like Iran, Syria, and some other countries in the region, we suspect that the authorities in Lebanon have decided to block Viber in the whole country, and that is why you are experiencing this issue. Unfortunately there is not much we can do to help

The block seems to be gradual, and does not affect everyone at once (or not all of the ISPs).

You may try contacting the authorities and ask for the reason for this block.

Viber Not connecting to the Internet

Hi, I read through whole of the thread before posting and i have tried all the suggestions that have been posted in the thread. Since past two days i was unable to make any calls through viber but messages were going through fine. one of my collegues has the same phone as mine but his viber is working fine and he can make calls as well as send messages. so after trying every suggestion on this thread to no avail i decided to uninstall viber and then reinstall it again. It gave me the option type my number in so i can recieve the confirmation code but it gives me No Connectivity Error even though i am connected to the internet and it is all working fine. I have checked viber on various networks and still no good. i tried to reboot my device as well. Is there anything that i am missing? i changed the network port settings on my home wifi but that too didnt help. Please suggest. I am using Iphone 4S. i am based in Pakistan and i am using Ufone as my network provider.
