The review was lame, but so was the editing. Shoot two words, "CUT!" Another three, "CUT!"

Why bother posting a review if you're just going to read the spec list from apple.com? As some others said, how can you review something you used for five minutes? Read a chapter of a book and then let us know how it reads.

I'm pretty surprised at how angry some of the forum members are getting about her review. It was a basic overview of specs, like many of the other postings on YouTube. She is vlogger/actress, not a techy. I'm not sure why anyone would really be surprised by this review.

I never heard of her till I was surfing youtube for the Palm Pre. I loved her review of it and I've been a fan of her's ever since. She has mad video editing skills and I think she's as cute as can be. I love the fact that she can't dance and makes fun of herself all the time. Not sure what all the hate is about but I think she's fun to watch most of the time. :D

I'm in love with her.

In one of her videos she asks someone what version of Illustrator they're using.

Oh god, no her again. Don't get me wrong, she's pretty and whatnot, and can be entertaining, but she knows as much about tech as a 6 year old.
I'm sorry Justine, but she should just stop talking about technology

The iPad is supposed to be the perfect product for non tecchy people... so in her opinion and for people who value it, the iPad fails in that perspective...

i believe shes a member here

Usually, when people are passionate about a topic, they know quite a bit about it

To have her own following on pretty much apple stuff, she probably knows more than you think

I hope so :D

I like her. I listen to her. No problem for me really. Maybe if she would of said something like first impressions/5 minute review of the product some of the people here would of cut her some slack. She does know quite a bit about different hardware products and software.

You know what's annoying? Anonymous people who talk crap about others. You just wasted three minutes? That was your choice, and lets be honest you weren't going to be saving the world with those three minutes. So, stop acting like you're so important.

I'm not an iJustine nut fan but she's made a rather large name for herself, something 99% of people in this world can't do. She's acted in SUV, been hired to represent IT products, interviewed some very popular celebrities, hosted the VMAs, etc.

So, before you start trashing her you may want to look at yourself. She has every right to comment on the iPad just like you do. But, unlike most people she's at least HELD one.

Leave your "I'm on the Internet so I can act like I'm better than everyone else" attitude. It's pathetic.

...can we get married now? :D I say that ALL the time about YouTube commenters, especially the ones who can't think of any better criticism than "go kill yourself" because they weren't entertained by the YouTube video posted. let alone, most of these naysayers most of the time never make their OWN videos for others to judge, which is like a person without taste buds judging the flavor of something.

How can you "review" something that you've used for 5 minutes, tops?

Pretty face, no brains.

Wow that's harsh - do you know her personally?. Some people adopt an internet persona, which includes playing up to the camera with dry sarcasm and over-the-top enthusiasm for sheer parody effect... but obviously you thought about that first, didn't ya!.

She's probably a lovely girl, and no - I don't think she is "hot" or anything as vulgar, she's just fun to watch, and seems genuinely bubbly with a zest for life - doesn't give anyone the right to slag her off.

Great now she is doing Youtube reviews coming from pointless life videos of herself doing stuff..

And im pretty sure justine is not on the forums, like she has time for that. Just some fan wanting to be her i guess.

Where are all the Cute, mildy annoying, but still acceptable, interested in technology enough to put up with my geekyness, but not knowing enough to make me feel inferior, girls hiding? Maybe I just like the ditzy ones. Lol

Grow up, guys!. Anyone can say anything they like on the 'net - noone owns it, and they aren't obliged to justify themselves to any one person or group. If you don't like iJustine, then feel free to wander off in a different direction and not post comments that only serve to show how ignorant of others' opinion you have become.

I think she's very well informed, and a great geek to have around. Now if you'd all just calm down and start accepting others for how they are, your opinions may start to get noticed too.

The issue in question originated with a "review" you posted on youtube that wasn't a review but simply you creating content for no other purpose than creating content to pick up subscribers, get hits generate traffic. Your tone in the reply to this board really came off as juvenile with you downgrading the critics of your "review" to fanboys who were really in fact jealous that you touched the iPad before them. There were many other legitimate journalists and technology bloggers who touched the iPad at that event and yet I cannot find one "review" written by any of them who spent all of 20mins with the iPad. To end your reply with "I know more about technology than you" only illustrates your attitude and limited view on "technology". The bottom line is that you posted your review to get people's attention (traffic, clicks) and you got just that. Your critics on this board called you out on your content because it was empty and meaningless which you knew when you posted it. Its apparent your in it for the hits so learn how to roll with your critics punches.

I don't get this point.... The entire point of any blog is to get people to come view your content. Should she post content that drives people away? Really?

You also must not have spent much time online since the iPad was announced since literally hundreds of people have posted reviews, blogs, and editorials about the iPad who have never even touched or seen one, much less spend 20 minutes with it.

There's nothing wrong with not caring for how this review was presented, not agreeing with it, or not liking iJustine at all, but there were some pretty cheap shots thrown at her, why shouldn't she reply? Not sure why you'd care why some anonymous web personality responds, but that's just me. Nobody forced you to watch it. If it was so bad, you could have stopped at any point during it.

I couldn't have said that better myself. It's a shame that the world is full of jealous, insecure people who have to put others down when they're doing something fun and positive. Go iJustine!! :D

I give her credit. She's got a lot of spirit, and she's a true entrepreneur. There are plenty of more established names out there who haven't given us any greater insight, despite having higher programming budgets.

I've been defending iJustine on this forum ever since I joined. okay, I've only been here for about a month (lurked for longer) but Justine seems like a genuinely nice person who is funny, spirited, unique and as the gentlemen have put it, easy on the eyes (what? a girl can't make a positive remark on another girl's appearance? LOL) and I don't see what the hostility is about. it's wasted anger and energy on a person you don't know who doesn't effect your life, so what's the biggie?

not all people who own Apple products are mega geniuses with computers (the same can be said about PC's) and she represents a realistic category of people who enjoy their electronics, but may not be able to take apart and put back together their computer. I happen to fall into that category. I see something resembling my life style in her videos, including the random crazy humor, hence I watch it.

golden rule folks - if you can't say anything nice, especially about someone you THINK can't hear you, then don't say it all. lame rule? sorry, but I happen to follow it.
