I think people on here is just jealous i mean her review was just as descriptive as sexyphils so if you like his review you like her review too. and you should see her editing (she edited on twit live once) :D

Oh, ok I see. So your excuse for someone releasing a dumbed-down, pathetic piece of content having absolutely nothing to do with the title is "well at least she tried."

By your logic, everyone criticizing the iPad has no validity as they themselves couldn't make an iPad.

I'm at least glad you can acknowledge that it isn't a review, despite what her title claims.

You cannot put words into my mouth, or speak for me, by attempting to analyze my persona, by quoting "by your logic...". You don't know me OR my logic, I just know this whole thread is becoming ridiculous, through pedants like yourself.

Bye bye.

Your claims were all I could use to assess your logic. Instead of just running away, try justifying your claims. It's apparent that there is simply no justifiable reason to defend iJustine's video if you're a member of this forum (i.e. someone with a higher level of technological competence than iJustine's average viewer).

I'm not surprised that an iJustine viewer would simply run away from their problems. It seems to coincide what I summarized as the average iJustine viewer ;)

You can't do a full review with such limited access....

Finally someone who gets it.

This is a funny thread.

This is not about iJustine as a person or looks. It is about her review of the iPad.

IMHO, her review was extremely lacking and should have not been called a review. Maybe call it an initial impression or something similar would have been appropriate.

Why is it all about winning and losing ffs?. Who cares, apart from you and a couple of others?. Noone. Get a life.

You clearly care, as you responded.

You state that I should get a life but all I've witnessed is:

- A woman who turns to iJustine when she's feeling down
- A person who has attempted to-yet undeniably failed- to defend the misuse of the word "review"
- An individual who is arguing over an internet forum about how great someone (who doesn't know what the word review means) on Youtube is.

Yeah, I'll get a life. Meanwhile, enjoy your life defending your precious iJustine on the Macrumors Forums.

This thread survives out of sheer boardem

I watched her video because it was in the OP's link because it was claimed to be a "review".

I really don't care about how enthusiastic she is, she simply hasn't demonstrated anything that pertains to a review of the product and you can't prove otherwise.

You seem to struggle with the basic concept that not everything posted on the internet needs to meet your criteria of what a review is or isn't and the more you go on and on about it, the worse you come across. We get it - you don't like the style. Well, amazing as it is, people actually have other opinions that differ from yours.

Can't say I was overly impressed with the "review" but it did cause me to click on the "I want a Pizza" skit and that **** was gold.

Talk about complete dedication to a character! Well done!

...I spent some time fossicking through a few more of her works but unfortunately I found no more gold :(

What is so wrong with defending a fun person who has done absolutely nothing to offend you, apart from post a review which you happen to deem as rubbish?. You do not own the internet, and have no right to assume yourself as moderator of all things passing through YouTube. If you don't like what you see, close your eyes, or - better still - close the window/tab - quite an effective solution really :). I think what this boils down to is the fact that you are one of those crazy people who thinks their opinion is more valid than any other, no matter how the cost of proving it dictates otherwise, hmmm?.

Since when was I a woman?. Yet more evidence of your pre-judgmental disposition to others.

Off you toddle, with your condescending tripe.

Exactly right, but don't you understand - he's the "review reviewer", so whatever the content, and no matter how much he likes/dislikes it, or misses the point of the content, he is right. That is fact (supposedly) ;)

## Petty foolishness aside, can we please pull this thread back on topic? ##

You just don't get it. It's not a matter of opinion. By definition, her video is not a review. I fail to understand what's so hard to comprehend.

Justine has as much right as any of us to do a review, and I shouldn't think she even cares what a few pathetic people on here think - she has many thousands of fans!

That embarrassing piece iJustine did was not a review. You shouldn't be labelling it as one.

Please read the definition of a review before you reply.

It's puzzling why you are making such a big deal that other people don't have your narrow definition of what a review is. Really, why do you care?

why is this girl famous enough to even have had her hands on one yet?

You clearly have no mac/geek cred if seriously don't know iJustine; i.e. the girl who single handedly embarrassed ATT enough to stop sending paper bills. But actually she wasn't famous enough to get an invite to the iPad announcement so Leo Laporte "loaned" her his badge for a few secs so she could play with the demo unit after the announcement. Everyone invited got a chance to briefly play with an iPad demo. That is what you are seeing.

they had paperless statements before that video. Her video just got at&t to change to a summary bill instead of so detailed.

I like the review. I think on you tube, you're catering to people who know a lot less, in other words not geeks like us, so this type of review is OK. So I don't know why people get knots in their panties because you didn't tell them something new??? I mean come on, it's you tube, what do you expect?

But if your intention is to get more viewers, then being a little more serious and having more technical specs would have been better.

Otherwise, great camera presence.

PS: Some people here make completely assinine comments....PVMAC or whatever:"you're worthless" Please, just put your head back up your ass.

This whole thread seems to just be turning into a battle of wills - the "review snobs" against the ordinary, broad-minded up for a laugh everyday people, who are wise enough not to take everything they see on YouTube at face value, and have the wisdom not to analyse every single second of content that spills from people's cameras, as if it all has to be professional grade review material, which must meet some imaginary "criteria".

I think iJustine is fabulously fun, and very pretty and witty, but I am backing out of this thread for the fact that it is just a losing battle trying to compete with those who MUST be heard, no matter the cost.

I hope you guys resolve this petty squabbling, and may I point you at "Godwin's law", which I think certain people could do with familiarizing themselves with...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_law (the definition of the point at which a forum thread is considered to be beyond resolution or recovery) :D.

Have fun, and remember - iJustine is precisely that - FUN!.
