Apple is banking on their monthly payments, no way the average person will pay for this upfront, however if you noticed, they will always make it sound sweeter than it is by saying *281$ a month. It sounds extremely tempting to get it at *that* price, but you know, it is what it is.

High price to pay to have a bunch of floating iPad screens around my face while disconnecting from my family after work.

A lot of butthurt people here. Comparing a Kia to a Mercedes IS possible. The Meta quest 3 does 95% of what the Vision Pro does. So it’s a solid competitor and open for comparison.

Comparing easily purchased consumer affordable devices to a niche device that’s $3500 is not even a comparison.
The first iPhone and iPads were easily consumer accessible.
This headset will be exactly like the AirPods Pro max.
Upgraded ever…..2-3 years…. Maybe never.

As of now only a teeeny teeeeeeeeny bit of third party developers are on board. After all this time and the lead developers had on the headset ima go out on a limb and say this segment will stagnate or take 3-5 years to have apps built specific towards it

It’s funny how this thing is being heavily promoted and pushed on social media. Tim Cook must be desperate.

When the average middle class American is struggling to pay their bills I think this product segment might take along time to flesh out.
It’s not going to be like the iPhone or iPad. Those devices were easily accessible by the masses. But this one…. Nope.
You can’t use this headset when it’s night time. Tracking completely stops working. It has a two hour battery life and we’re starting to see morons driving with this on, walking around cities with this on.
It’s only a matter of days before this item is clean ripped off someone’s head and stollen.

It’s a cool product don’t get me wrong. But man is this not going to go the way Apple had planned. If anything it’s going to spark interest in the segment more and drive people to AFFORDABLE competing products.

And it’s done just that. The meta quest 3 just saw a massive sale increase lol.
