Me too. I certainly hope it isn't as tame as the products announced today. :(

They could have just been getting the stuff announced today out of the way to make room for the stuff announced later. They cant announce to much in one show even if it is an anniversary.

I dont quite understand how this is still on the same topic.

How do you know this? Do you have some sort of inside info? Did one of the guys at apple lead you into a vault room with text on the walls and show you some secret document showing he was here?:)

Technically he could have been talking about a Mac mini. Never said anything else. He even said evolution... you guys thought it was more...

Nah, was not talking about the Mac Mini, the Hi-fi is cool but the one I was talking about was chosen to not be shown today :( So much for my excitement post. I guess I will live in the shadow of conspiracy now. Oh well, it is coming and it is cool, and from other rumor sites you should already know which product was pulled at the last moment, and it is re-designed too (still white though). :)

I will continue to post as chasingapple, I have no reason to hide, cause I did'nt lie!

Cheers.

Ummm, yea.. it was pretty exciting..

Sorry, I told you these things happen all the time, they chose not to unleash the goodness today. What can I say? *shrugs*

Keep in mind my big hint....I said I wanted this iBook G4 1.33Ghz cause it was the "LAST" G4 going to be made! HINT HINT FREAKIN HINT, lol. Anyway, tear me apart if you must, seeing upcoming product is nothing new to me and most people think Apple HQ is fort knox or something, they are people (very cool too) and some of the nicest people I have ever met, I would love to work in that type of place! If only I had the technical knowledge they have to do what they do!

Cheers

So you've been talking about the Intel iBook this whole time. What the crap man ... everyone knows the iBook is going Intel.

You allowed to post of forums as well i see? I am pretty sure that is banned. I site Apple Campus by the way not the store.

I work for Apple retail also, the machines in back are on the Apple Corporate network via VPN. No blocking of Mac Rumor sites, but I do think that we're not allowed to post anything on forums or blogs about Apple stuff.

Also disappointed at the announcements ($100 iPod case, WTF?), but the discount puts the HiFi at about a tempting $265.

Also, Apple employees STILL can't order the MacBook! So all of you complaining about shipping times should realize there are people waiting just to ORDER the dang thing!

March 28 Next Apple Event

Okay, I know that every one was thinking That chasingapple guy was crazy with his info, and seeing how we didn't see anything big from Apple today. He did say the 28th, but he didn't say February 28. He just said the 28. I looked at iCal and guess what March 28 is on a tuesday, and Apple introduces new produces on tuesdays. So you can't say that chasingapple guy was wrong yet!

We need a date chasingapple :)

Edit: I don't mean a dinner date, I mean a date on the calendar, just incase you thought otherwise.

Edit 2: Does it have onboard intel graphics or seperate chip? Duo or Single Core?

Please stop posting lies. I thought no one lied on the Internet, then you came along, and now I know I can't believe everything I read on the web. I'm so disillusioned!

Yeah right! I thought it was going to be today!!! I will try to find out why it was pulled, maybe they didnt want to take the thunder from the Mini, who knows. Now if you all go back and read just my posts (the ones not trying to prove who I was, lol) then you can pretty much piece together what I was talking about. Or most can be 12 year olds who cant fathom that a person on this earth might have got to do something cool *shrugs*, I honestly dont care nor will I lose sleep tonight over the fact that some message board strangers think im full of it.

:D

Can you disclose some more information other than it's colour? Just something to tease us with...

Well not really. There are still 5 NDA's signed by me and im not going to come right out and say anything too direct. We all know there will be a new iBook, and we all know the consumer (non Pro) stuff is white as with the new iMac, and we all know it will have Intel, so I have not said anything, but it is cool, exciting, and when rev 2 of it comes out im there. But one thing I did not know was the Integrated Intel Graphics on the new mini, that was a suprise to me as well and not something I like. Now I am worried, but I think we are going to be safe there. I only got 15 minutes to play with the "cool" product so I really didnt look at the inside hardware if you know what I mean. I mean honestly, who expected that?!

Oh get over yourself. And no the fact that there is a new iBook down the line is not a secret, are you really that close to a sheep? And can everybody please go read the OP? Screw it, lets explain it here.

Wait until you see what Apple has in store on the 28th!! (Good stuff from what I saw, but missing 1 thing)

Im posting from one of them right now. (Hard to imagine, but yeah I was)

but just wait. I dont think there will be one single dissapointed person out there. (Unless the one thing your talking about was chosen not to be shown)

END QUOTE FOR A HINT

Dude, If you really do not care what people think of you. And do want to give actual details about products instead of vague discriptions which fit almost anything, then do not post on internet forums saying you have seen a product.

Here is your OP:

They didnt have anything in store

There were more than a few disappointed people.

Why do you do this?

Nothing was revealed. Apple plan presentations well in advance and this is the secound time you have said something is coming and then their was a last minite change?

More over you say you do not care if we all think you a full of it yet you continue to post to defend yourself dispite being proved wrong?

I dont get it. Maybe you ibook/tablet or whatever it is will be shown. But it doesnt explain all this
