That thing is moving, damn. Mach 1. I have only flown a few times so I don't know much, but I didn't realize the FedEx planes went that fast.
And no shipping notice at all? is a i5 or i7 model? im so excited to be moving from my dell dimension 8300 with only 512mb ram and 80gb hard drive god knows what processor lol, to this my first mac.

So I see my credit card just got charged for the imac i7. My order number is W656, and so far no change on the website order status, but when I call apple, the automated order status said my order is in process. I hope thats the case? Anyone seeing the same thing?

More likely than not you made the assumption that order numbers are created numerically. More likely than not (with most companies and CC companies) these account numbers are generated randomly by a computer.

I hope so... Mine is Stock i7 and status is Prepared for Shipment on the US Store. Not yet ship on the Swiss Store.

i feel for you i remember seeing people who have ordered after me and getting pissed off. i dont quite understand apples shipping ways which evidently no one does seems like a strange system. Good luck and i hope its sent soon

In other news, since it looks like a bunch of us have machines just waiting to depart from FedEx, anyone know what time they start shipments in China's timezone? I'm trying to figure out if there is any way that we'll see them by EOD Friday.
My RAM from Newegg just got dropped off at my mailbox. It's just going to mock me in its package before I can install it in the iMac.

The 4850 is a mobile graphics card and it can be seen in the iFix teardown. They posted pictures.
Some where there is a fed ex truck by my house with my 27" in it. Hope he gets to my house soon...
The iFixit teardown was for the C2D with the ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics processor. So your statement is wrong. No one has an iMac with the 4850 until either today or tomorrow. You should know this.

Well im certainly excited, i wonder what the biggest upgrade is, i just found out mine was a 2.6ghz intel pentium 4 processor with the 80gb hd and 512mb ram so bad, in the last couple of months of use i was even trying to run photoshop ans illustrator both latest editions with a very slow experience, it didn't even reach system requirements to have cover flow feat. on safari which i believe is available. luckily i must add it died.
When do u guys think a stock iMac 2.66 QC Core i5 (no customization) be shipped if ordered on Nov 10, 3pm EST?
Nobody has a correct answer for you. It will be just like chating to an Apple CR; you will get a different answer from each person you speak with. It depends on so many variables, and more likely than not there is no method that we can see in how Apple is shipping these. More likely than not it is based very heavily on logistics. Just be patient and wait for that email.
