Confirm on another flight tracker site.... I too think tomorrow is workable for delivery...:) Clearance out of Alaska is critical....

They probably stopped for food or took a smoke break. The way I see it, that cutoff was missed by around 8 minutes as others who had 8:07pm, etc. instead of out 8:15 - were shipped. Serious.

Are our iMacs still sitting in China? Where is it "in transit" to? Shanghai? I'm almost wondering if it went back somewhere then had to start all over again. Almost like it was really shipped on the 12th.

We should start our own thread for our unlucky group. :) Who here has these same tracking times?

Hey my i7 must be on this same flight...as I had the "cut off exception" as well as the exact same update times. Good to know its on its way.

So happy that these forums exist! Nice to share the same experiences with others! And nice to meet my "traveling package buddies."

Yes, Mine shows it's sitting in Shanghai also. Same tracking info showing as above pic. But different departments, etc. see more info.

Trust me. Our babies are in the plane together to AK right now and AK is many hours behind us. This could indeed work!

Apple should take this thread and make it mandatory reading for all customer service reps. Steve should issue a statement that from this day forward, Apple will keep their customers informed about deliveries to a closer tolerance than by the month....:apple:
 
just rang and got free expedited shipping, YAY! although as I only ordered on the 6/11 I'm not expecting it to ship until next week.
My remote shipping on the 10/11 and has an expected delivery of 18/11. It would be funny if my iMac shipped today or tomorrow and with the expedited shipping got here faster than the remote which shipped a few days earlier :)
 
To those that are receiving them now, can you please state what your estimated delivery day WAS? Thanks

I still do not understand why my tracking information is showing future times.... However, I will leave it in your trusty hands but I still think the guy driving the tractor is still circling the airport....

Now I see.... All the FedEx tracking information is the same regardless of where one resides in the US. Maybe we should start a new thread titled as above..

Mine was supposed to be friday, the door bell rang and I was like hmmmm thats box is to big to be my prestige edition modern warfare 2! HAHA

Count me in on this flight too...my i7 was originally scheduled for Friday delivery and then got changed to Monday. In my past ordering experiences with Apple and FedEx, delivery has usually been a day early from China. Fingers crossed!

Sooo, my ups tracking doesn't state WHEN it will be delivered but I live in Ontario, Canada. Anyone think ill get it by tomorrow or sat? (If I am even considered eligible for delivery on a sat)
 
Ok so I've seen enough to convince me to jump to the quad core. This will be my first mac since I had an old second hand Classic when at Uni 15 years ago.

So my question is...if I order an i5 tonight from the UK when might i expect it to be delivered??

I've spent months following this update to the imac, loitering on this forum and spending too much of my employers time thinking about it so i just need to get on with it but now i have made up my mind i want it NOW!

The email from Apple said the 16th, then FedEx said the 13th. But it was delivered today.

first impressions are the magic mouse is tiny!!! The screen isn't taller its just wider.... I will post a pic if anyone is interested. I love and hate setting up a new machine.

My card has a pending transaction!!! I called Apple and they said its usually 3 days from the day the transaction goes pending. Which was yesterday. So she speculated that it should ship tomorrow. Oh my god, the light is at the end of the tunnel!

We have the exact same info, left Shanghai at 22h15 local time. My delivery estimate was tomorrow but now it doesn't state when. Finger crossed for tomorrow. BTW I'm in Montreal
 
BTW i paid the extra $33 for 2-3 day shipping, but I got overnight shipping.

Just got a tracking number for my i7, 8GB RAM, ordered on the 20th.

I'm located in Denmark, Europe.

I don't understand that it's being shipped with UPS Ireland?

Anyone knows why?
 
Well, well, well

Ordered i7, 2TB, 8 GB, wired kb on 10/20. 11/9 I received email from Apple, computer shipped with estimated delivery 11/16/09. FedEx tracking showed estimated delivery 11/13/09. Today, 11/12, it is on the truck for delivery, presumably within the next two hours :D

To all those frustrated and waiting, hang in there, Apple may surprise you as well! I hope so.
