The folks at ifixit.com did that. They did a teardown of the 27" as soon as it was available. It's a bit hard to find on their site, so I hope they don't mind that I posted a direct link.
i just called and the guy told me not to expect my package tomorrow but will be sure delivered saturday before 1:30.
Wow, still *zero* update on mine. I suspect mine will soon say that it missed some fedex cuttoff by 15 mins and will spend an extra day in China. This has met all of my expectations of getting the computer, but in the bad way.
So no one took advantage of the free printer after mail in rebate?

So that's funny -- how does Apple decide whether to use UPS (which apparently do Saturday delivery) or FedEx (which will not)? I paid for express shipping and so far, not so express as I can't even get an update.
I hope you guys get FedEx... UPS is full of delays... sat at the airport in China for 20 hours, then sat in Louisville for 12+ hours and now they are shipping to Hamilton instead of Toronto, causing another delay... And, I ordered express...

I have a delivery date of November 16th.
I have a hard time believing it will be here on Monday... No way they'll make that deadline.
Apple is using UPS in Canada only and FedEx in the US. Don't complain - Canadians won't be seeing i5/i7 iMacs until next week at the earliest because of the clunky customs system. As far as I know, iMacs will be going Shanghai -> Anchorage -> Louisville -> Mississauga, ON -> final destination.
Right now, all iMacs destined for Canada are sitting in Anchorage and, hopefully, will make it to Louisville today. If not, we probably won't see ours until Monday. Tuesday if you're in western Canada (which I am).
geekbench for the 64-bit applications look good

Grrrrr I just called UPS and they told me the Saturday delivery is not available on my package. I told him that someone else who ordered the same package as me from the same company got a Saturday delivery and he said not until Monday

I grabbed the $130 middle printer option. $30AR for a wireless all-in-one is a steal. I got the printer days ago, but I'm still waiting on my i7 (ordered 11/5). The printer looks nice, but I'm afraid to open it until the iMac arrives so I haven't tried it out.

they do quit anchorage today at 3-4pm alaska time to be in louisville at 1-2am eastern time. dispatch will be done there. mine is scheduled for tomorrow but certainly wont be here before saturday.

Yep, I called Apple a week ago to add the printer to my order and they updated my order to free express shipping (2-3 days). I don't know what to do. A Saturday delivery would be perfect for me, I wouldn't have to drive 30 min in traffic to stop at the UPS depot. Did you say anything to the UPS rep about Saturday shipping or did you ask for it?

If it's at your local distribution center they might let you pick it up yourself on saturday.
Merge In Transit ???
Just checked my shipping status and I don't understand it completely:
Now the Time Capsule and the EMEA CC- HE CONTRACT UPLIFT IMAC-INT (Applecare) appear on the same tracking number, however the actual iMac has this unclear "Merge In Transit" status attached to it with no tracking number associated with it? Ignore the iMac cancellation part of the status as this was a computer blip that a lot of us Europeans seem to have experienced.
Can anyone tell me what this actually means as at the moment all I can track is the Applecare and the Time Capsule?
