Exactly the same thing for me. It is at the NL Distribution Center, and I just have a Apple Shipping reference (8102xxxxxx). This number is the same as the Carrier tracking number, it must be temporary. I tried it on UPS, Fedex and TNT websites, didn't work.

Finally - Prepared for Shipment
The status on my i7 changed to "Prepared for Shipment" sometime Saturday night. When it ships I should receive it in 2 days as Apple upgraded to 2 day shipping due to an error on their part. I was delayed by a week because Apple did not re-submit a charge to my credit card. Now I'm getting anxious
. I guess I can start unhooking the printers (3), scanner and digitizer pad from my Dell. I cancelled my auto renewals for Norton and Uniblue as they were getting ready to renew. Already set up my new wireless Canon printer. Gee, maybe a new iMac and Thanksgiving all in the same week. Life is good, as long as everything works!

Mines arrived on Thursday (core i5) and its a beast.
Delivery to the UK was SUPER quick, shipped on Wednesday and received on Thursday. I guess it was coming from their European distribution centre... I ain't complaining one bit
Congratulations. I've been following your experiences since the beginning. Although, I've forgotten your exact configuration and reorder dates. How many days after your reorder did it take before your imac was shipped?
As for me, I'm still trying to get my billing corrected since I canceled my original order. Apple refunded my Apple Care purchase price, (but only after my second phone call). Unfortunately, they didn't refund the tax I paid. Two more phone calls later, separated by a total of 8 days (Sat 14th through today) and still no luck. Guess I'm just going to lose that $8.03 USD. I even offered to have them contact my credit card company to confirm that I was charged $127.03 rather than just $119 (educator's pricing).

Hopefully that means it is on its way to Mt Hope (hamilton) airport and will be still be delivered on UPS's original estimated date of 23/11 rather than the revised date of 24/11 after it was held up in Shanghai for 3 days...

I just noticed that too. Revised delivery date is the 26th, Thursday.
Maybe it's heading for Warsaw next?
I wonder whether they can guarantee delivery at a specific time, or whether I can ask them to deliver on Friday.
yeh anyone else know their order number and details by heart? Extra geeky points of you have started to use it as a login or password to another system somewhere...
I sent a request in asking where the link to the "complaints/suggestions" is on the apple site so we can easily provide feedback. Automated reply said i should check the "support" section of the website. Ironically that is where the link is to report missing links so yeah, ive seen that one.
I guess if no complaints get to the top, then there are no problems!

yeah got a free upgrade a few days after i bought it, at the time they were giving away free express shipping to everyone.
Its listed as 2-3 day shipping, Monday will be the third day, but if its tuesday I won't be too worried. been waiting a long time, another day won't matter!
I live in a rear apartment, if the UPS guy does the same as last time and knocks on the front house no one will answer so i'll have to drive and pick it up
It's likely still there. Mine didn't leave Shanghai until three days after the first "departure scan."
Anyone here place a pre-order in October and still not shipped? Besides you Dronus, our position is well documented in the other thread, but I was just wondering is it an Australian issue, or a Global one, of pre-orders placed in October, just not being shipped.

I know.. I was hoping someone from Canada with the same UPS problem would chime in. It still says "Origin scan Shanghai" and nothing else..
They pushed my Apple Remote's delivery date back. Prior to today, it said "Delivers: Nov 20 - Nov 25." As of today, it now says "Delivers: Nov 20 - Nov 27."

mine looks like this:
As you can see it had an origin scan in Shanghai and then stopped there for 3 days. Now its hopefully taken off from Kentucky and on its way to Ontario, Mt Hope airport in Hamilton. If it can be processed tonight it might still be delivered tomorrow!
But it should definately have landed again by now since the departure scan was 7 hours ago, and I don't think it takes that long to get here!
I wish UPS would update us better.
From the little I've used them they seem a crappy shipping company.
