@Komiksulo I can't believe our iMacs get to travel the world before they get to Canada! They must be having the time of their lives...my tracking info says I'm in Hong Kong as well...err depart(ure scan)-ed hong kong. I'm hoping they stop by in Vancouver first before heading off to Toronto :p

Hey, don't forget me! I'm pretty sure my iMac's keeping company with yours and Komiksulo's on their pan-continental tour.

I'd love to see one side of my iMac's shipping box covered in passport-style stamps as evidence of the crazy zig-zag it took to get here. Shanghai, Panpanga, Chek Lap Kok, Vladivostok, Addis Ababa, the Mariana Trench, etc.

Bedtime. The obsession continues tomorrow...

The U.S. Apple store is now showing 5-7 days for the i5 and i7.

Bryan

Actually it has been 5-7 days for about a week now, Bryan. Before that it had been changed to 7-10 days from "In November".

That's what makes it all the worse for those of us who're still stuck on 'Not Yet Shipped'... They keep shortening the shipping estimates while the days keep tacking on for many of us early orderers.

hehe, i wonder how many other Canadian bound iMacs are on the same flight. Looks like they're in Anchorage Alaska now :) Finally...North America.

My i7 was just shipped, placed the order about a week ago. It tells me it should arrive by Friday. In the UK fyi.

If I were some of you folk still waiting after al this time I would be reading the riot act to Apple.
I ordered my i5 on 11/11 arrived today..and i live in New Zealand:cool:

Tell me about it!!

At least you can get your iMac's to ship! I placed an order on the 28th of October, and I can't get the bloody thing to ship!

What was the point in us pre-ordering???? I could just go into a store and pick one up by now. If only I hadn't paid using their Barclays promotion! GGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

(UK - pre-ordered iMac i5 26th October)

I have called them everyday and even made an official complaint in writing through official channels.
The problem is that no one that is accessible to the consumer cares or can give you any information.

There has been a major screw up and perhaps Apple are expecting us to just cancel and reorder. I am going to wait until the end of the original promised shipping period (however unfair this has been watching everyone else get theirs) and if there is still no progress escalate it further.

I have a feeling ours will ship this week.

Mine was due for tomorrow according to Apple's dispatch email but its still "In transit" from Pudong airport since 9am on the 21st.

Wondering if TNT's website is punishing me for refreshing so often to see my iMacs progression.

Shipped - In Transit

Wooo Hooo, in transit - Fedex Delivery 11/25 by 10:30am:D. Guess I'll have to take the day off to play and start preparing the Thanksgiving Day feast. Turkey and :apple: pie, yum yum:)

Placed my order for an i7 yesterday (22nd Nov) 5 -7 days delivery.... expected date of delivery 3 - 8 Dec which is not 5-7 days! Most confusing!

Well mine is finally on Canadian soil!

It went from Kentucky to Buffalo and then I assume flew to Mt Hope, Hamilton, although at 3 hours it would have been quicker to drive up!
Does anyone know if import scan means it has cleared customs?
If so I would assume there is still a possibility it is delivered today, if not, the chances are slipping away...

woohoo!! I"m on my i7 right now just got it 30 minutes ago and it wasn't supposed to come until tomorrow. this thing is amazing, this is my first mac computer after making the switch from pc, very happy I did.

UPS = Ur Putrid Shipper

I hate UPS.

My package isn't due to come in until Friday now even though it has said Tuesday the whole time. (It still says Tuesday)

I have never had a problem like this with FedEx. UPS always seems to let me down one way or an other.
