Sucks that I cannot arrange a pickup tonight since they have to make a delivery attempt before allowing to schedule a pick-up.
How ridiculous is that - it will save them money since they don't actually have to deliver it, and it will save them storing it overnight.
That is a pathetic excuse for a system...

10th time lucky! I spoke to a guy called Walter at Apple Customer Services today and he's told me that my iMac i5 (ordered in the UK on 26th October) will be despatched from China tomorrow :-/
At long last I have some sort of action (although my order status still shows 'Not yet shipped' Expected November.
We will see...
hopefully this is good news for all the other pre-order guys 'n gals who have heard nothing so far?

From what the UPS guy said when I rang, I think the NB thing is a mistake, and they're actually in hamilton. Perhaps yours is even on its way to Toronto. Try ringing them, he was quite helpful, and obviously had far more information in front of him than is available to us on the tracking website.
Mine is apparently in the warehouse in Hamilton ready to be delivered before mid-day tomorrow.

I spoke to the same guy today. My i7 shipped in 21st but doesn't yet have a tracking number. He claimed I would only get one the day it's on it's way to my front door from UK UPS. Seems unlikely given everyone else on here can track all the way from China.
 
My i7/1GB/1TB ordered 29/10 arrived in Dublin, IE today, after shipping on the 13th and arriving at UPS UK on the 19th.

Wow. Huge. Fast. Lovely screen.

There must be something going on with the i5 that they were waiting for, i have been told that the i5 preorder stock will ship to AU tommorow aswell.

Same for me (well despatched on the 20th British time). It's really annoying not being able to track it.

Ordered my i5 this friday and it just went to shipped :p
Delivery expected tomorrow!

Thats two business days :D

Can´t wait.

BTW. i Live in Denmark, and it´s getting sent from The Netherlands, i guess thats why the shipping is so snappy.

I am on day 28! Nearly a month, and still no sign of shipping, despite Mapples assurance that it will ship on the 25th. I have my doubts. What do you guys reckon, if they miss the November window, do you think we are entitled to some sort of compensation?:mad:
 
Sigh. I sent my i7 back to Apple this morning. (It had a display issue). My replacement doesn't ship out for another 5-7 business days.

So..um...hi again, everybody. Nice to be back in this thread.

$2 donation for membership can goto Beyond Blue* - I think i might need their services for the depression that im experiancing ordering this Mac!

I am supposed to have a phone call by midday today Adelaide time with an update in regards to the staus of these pre-orders to AU. Im half expecting to not get the call, if i dont then ill call again.

Of course my answer is biased as in the same boat as you (And what an impressive boat it is! kind of like the Kangaroo island ferry, but with less vomit on the side).
Im thinking at least apple care, if not an ipod or itunes gift card..

Logistically it would appear less complicated for me to send a live native Crocodile to the states from Australia than it is for America to send me consumer electronics from China. Go figure!

They will bump our i5's to i7's just for all the anguish they have caused.
 
just called apple and the guy sayd its weird that my imac i5 is moving so slowly and he was suppose to call logistics and see what he could do, and then send me an email after ca 24hours. but already my status change from:

Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 30 Nov 2009
to
Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 26 Nov 2009
 
Just got a shipping notice that it's on it's way to NL to be merged with the printer and normaly a day later it will be with me. The mail said it will be deliverd on or before 3 december. On the Apple site it sais: Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 07 Dec 2009 (Subject to change) .

What should I believe?

Can't wait for my first iMac, now hopping that it's a good one

Why the hell can you guys get your iMacs in 2 days, and Dronus and I have been waiting for nearly a month, and it is still not shipping.

Mapple makes me sick.

Compensation is definitely in order! I got them to upgrade my ram from 4 to 8gb few weeks back, and now after I get my order, I have the number of someone who vowed to make things right for me. They told me call them back after I receive my Imac! Really if you think about it , It's the least they can do for us.

Hmm, maybe it´s because we´re just pure awesome?, or damn lucky.

I thinks it´s more the latter ;)

Have u considered to cancel your order and order again?
