I like the look at first blush. but it’s definitely way more industrial than Apples usual design.

Now this is a Mac Pro! I had the old Power Mac 9600 which had a ton of expandability. Nothing that came after seemed to have as much until now.

I think the only option for CPU is going to be the 28-core CPU (W3175X), I don't think there is anything else that is going to be available.

In other worlds, this thing is going to start at $6000.00 and go up from there.

Stunned ...
Let's see about the specs and pricing and what GPUs can go in there.
Not sure about the RAM and storage setup either, they are light on details ...

And yes, it is butt ugly, but who cares .

They did use the phrase "up to 28 cores".

I will wait and see whether it's powerful in the real world, and I lament the lack of NVIDIA, but holy sheet balls, it looks hilariously powerful. This is what we asked for. New design language is kind of cool, needs some getting used to, but looks great!

Ram says up to 1.5TB. That means 128GB modules. Is that available in DDR4, I thought only optane went that high?
[doublepost=1559587100][/doublepost]hmm, can the MBP drive the 6K?
