I'm on the original watchOS 10 beta but not seeing the update to the latest beta. My iPhone/iPad updated just fine. Tried via the Watch app and directly on the watch.

I see that there was red icon added when watch is not connected to iPhone during training.
This was already there before watchOS 10. Although I am always running without my iPhone, I only sporadically see this red X. No idea, when it is displayed or not.

Yeah I'm with you on this. I notice it horribly when trying to use the Weather app. It's horrible.
Do file a feedback with Apple, I already did. I think it's fixable with a bit of UI work - the viewport should always scroll with the crown, even a little is enough. And the crown sensitivity should be a setting, IMHO it's too sensitive.

After two days of beta 2 to be around, still I can't get it to show on my watch or phone.. have tried all: restart, on/off, updates on/off, but to no avail. Could it be it's not yet available in my area (Italy)? Opinions?

EDIT: have finally made it... I didn't understand I had to disable BETA updated and than re-enable it..
Thanks all!

Anyone really hate the pagination that's used a lot instead of scrolling in WatchOS 10? They took a luxurious, analog control (crown) and turned it into ****** switch that you always either undershoot (no reaction) or overshoot (scroll two pages unintentionally). I don't have any motor disadvantage nor am I a klutz but this is bad.

It’s a beta, yes it annoys me, but it’s an obvious tweak they need to make. Be careful not to declare these types of things as permanent. Frankly I have not thought twice about it because it’s an obvious code adjustment. We literally have 2+ months of beta releases ahead of us.

If you are really serious about beta testing, report it. I did.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with Heart Rate complications? Mine do not update reliably, regularly display 30-40 minute old measurements despite newer ones having been taken.
Apple Watch S7, Infograph watchface, WatchOS 10 beta 2.

i've figured it out. for me it's only a little related to the sensitivity and almost completely the fact that there's no haptic feedback. I need to 'feel' when i'm at the end of one of the pages and about to flip to the next one, and i need to feel when i'm all the way at the end. it used to have a "rubberband" feeling and now it does nothing.

Are you essentially screwed if you upload watch 10 beta and you have issues. I know the phone can be down graded but what happens to my ultra if there are issues?

Yes, you're basically screwed if you have issues or want to go back to iOS 16. You have to send the watch to Apple to have it downgraded. (Not sure if they even send yours back, or a refurbished one). Or wait until a newer beta/final release to upgrade to.

To use watchOS 10, you have to upgrade your iPhone to iOS 17 first. If you decide to go back to iOS 16, your watch will be useless until you do one of the above.

Ahhh ok. Thank you for the information. I’ll wait since I plan on grabbing the 15 phone

I have a problem with Apple Watch 5 44mm. I'm on beta 2, the battery is fine with one exception - if I drive a lot during the day and my phone is connected wirelessly with CarPlay, the watch discharges in 5-6 hours. Does anyone have a similar problem?

Personally loving the remapped side button control centre, makes much more sense.

One thing I do find strange if why they haven’t added music controls like you have in iOS/macOS. Seems the ideal place to put them and accessible from anywhere. Would be much better than taking over your whole watch face when you playing a song.

One thing I really don’t like about this update, but it’s just a temporary annoyance when setting up: If you restore your watch as new, it puts all your 3rd party apps at the bottom of the app grid, and it’s very slow moving them back up lol

so far, no problems. getting used to the widgets, think they will be excellent especially when using a clean watchface without complications.

far more importantly.. the snoopy watchface :D absolutely brilliant. seems to be lots of different designs.

Battery drain for me is still significant on beta 2. Using ultra watch.

Battery hasn’t been bad for me on my S8. Took it off the charger at 6am yesterday, did a 1 hour workout without my phone connected to my gym’s wifi (cellular was on but not connected) and streaming music to my airpods, and then did a full work day including a few outdoor walks tethered, came home with 25% left around midnight.
