Thanks, that did the trick.Switch the beta off/on on your phone. It should show up.
This was already there before watchOS 10. Although I am always running without my iPhone, I only sporadically see this red X. No idea, when it is displayed or not.I see that there was red icon added when watch is not connected to iPhone during training.
Do file a feedback with Apple, I already did. I think it's fixable with a bit of UI work - the viewport should always scroll with the crown, even a little is enough. And the crown sensitivity should be a setting, IMHO it's too sensitive.Yeah I'm with you on this. I notice it horribly when trying to use the Weather app. It's horrible.

I have LTE disabled most of the time and still get the X sometimes. The red X showing to me when I out of LTE signal with my Watch without iPhone.
When you have LTE on Watch disabled, you must have X every time when you goes out from iPhone or Wifi range.I have LTE disabled most of the time and still get the X sometimes.
Anyone really hate the pagination that's used a lot instead of scrolling in WatchOS 10? They took a luxurious, analog control (crown) and turned it into ****** switch that you always either undershoot (no reaction) or overshoot (scroll two pages unintentionally). I don't have any motor disadvantage nor am I a klutz but this is bad.
This has been fixed in Beta 2
i've figured it out. for me it's only a little related to the sensitivity and almost completely the fact that there's no haptic feedback. I need to 'feel' when i'm at the end of one of the pages and about to flip to the next one, and i need to feel when i'm all the way at the end. it used to have a "rubberband" feeling and now it does nothing.Do file a feedback with Apple, I already did. Ahhh ok. Thank you for the information. I’ll wait since I plan on grabbing the 15 phoneYes, you're basically screwed if you have issues or want to go back to iOS 16. You have to send the watch to Apple to have it downgraded. (Not sure if they even send yours back, or a refurbished one). Or wait until a newer beta/final release to upgrade to.
To use watchOS 10, you have to upgrade your iPhone to iOS 17 first. If you decide to go back to iOS 16, your watch will be useless until you do one of the above.
Battery drain for me is still significant on beta 2. Using ultra watch.Has the battery life drain been fixed on beta 2? I’d only get half a day on my series 7
