Zero complaints with this RC. Everything I use the watch for is working, especially direct streaming from the watch to APP2’s which was severely broken.

My Apple Watch has been like this since the beginning of time unless I turn WiFi off before even attempting to access streaming apps. Has it become even more annoying for you?How has that improved? I still find it buggy as hell. I need to set aside about 10 mins every morning to get podcasts playing from the watch instead of the phone before I go out for my morning run.
I’ve been using the new software since the RC was released last week and I see no difference with this issue.
It's just working now, instantly and flawlessly. I am still shutting off BT and WiFi on the phone before I leave it behind, but this is out of habit. How has that improved? Also been a train wreck compared to the watchOS 9 BETAAfter finally getting my music app working and synching properly following a full reset of the watch, I'm off the beta train for both iOS and WatchOS, see you in WatchOS 11!

For me the Music app on the AW just constantly crashes. The 10.2 DB does NOT fix the bug.Does anyone also have an issue with Apple Music, when trying to search for a song on the watch manually, if something is already playing, and you click on a new somg… the new song just won’t play? It shows an animation like it’s going to do something but then nothing happens.
Maybe this is what I need to do. By full reset do you mean you unpaired and then repaired? (edit: also: did you set up as a new watch or from a backup?)After finally getting my music app working and synching properly following a full reset of the watch, I'm off the beta train for both iOS and WatchOS, see you in WatchOS 11!
I setup as a new watch once I upgraded to iOS 17.1 RC and WatchOS 10.1 RC. It finally worked!Maybe this is what I need to do. By full reset do you mean you unpaired and then repaired? (edit: also: did you set up as a new watch or from a backup?)
Icon for the ECG App is not showing. Restarted watch, deleted and re-downloaded the App and no luck. It's there, I can bring it up when I press the corner I assigned the complication to, it's just not showing.
Thanks. I just unpaired and repaired and set it up from a backup. Running 10.2 DB 1. Music app now works BUT I cannot download music to the watch, which was in issue in the 10.1 Betas….Ugh. Maybe I will try to set up as a new watch tomorrow.I setup as a new watch once I upgraded to iOS 17.1 RC and WatchOS 10.1 RC. It finally worked!

I don’t seem to have issues with Apple Music as long as I turn WiFi off and let it switch to LTE before I open the music app.

Have you tried the steps I posted?
1
Shut off BT and WiFi on the phone. (not airplane mode)
2
Kill any apps running on the watch.
I do this and when I launch music on the watch, it starts playing instantly through my APP2's. That's it, nothing to do on the watch. For me, it works now without doing the steps, but I do them anyway.
I hear you, it was like that for me for about 6 weeks during the beta. Thank god it is fixed now for me. I didn't do any workarounds this morning and it worked as designed. Running 10.2b.I can get it working with that kind of thing…but I shouldn’t have to?
I appreciate the tips. I can get there but I think Apple needs to improve this as it has definitely regressed
To add to this, it seems even better on 10.2b1. Granted it is the first beta, but headed in the right direction.I have not run into this. The RC has been great for my Ultra 1, and battery life has greatly improved.
I am experiencing the same frustrating issue with Podcast and airplay. Can’t find an easy work around except turning off the phone. Has watchOS 10.2 beta fixed the issue? How has that improved? Install Overcast. No more hassle with syncing podcasts to your watch.I am experiencing the same frustrating issue with Podcast
Overcast is the best. Struggle with the Music App in 10.3 B1. When running without phone cannot pick a playlist (the app crashes). If I request via Siri I get random stuff. What I can say is “play music.” That’s it. I have reported. Ultra 2Install Overcast. No more hassle with syncing podcasts to your watch.
Watch OS 10.2 beta seems to have removed asking "End workout?" after you click end workout. It's about time. It was annoying have to confirm you want to end the workout after you click "x" on end workout.
That’s been gone for a while.
