Still broken in 10.2Icon for the ECG App is not showing. Restarted watch, deleted and re-downloaded the App and no luck. It's there, I can bring it up when I press the corner I assigned the complication to, it's just not showing.

No, 10.1 public release here and it's still asking for finish workout. That’s been gone for a while.
Yes I am not sure what @LarryJoe33 is referring to. It was there on my 10.1 and only disappeared with 10.2 beta.
I believe the people you were replying to were all referring to when you manually end a workout yourself, not when the watch detects you've finished a workout and asks you whether you'd like to end it.I was referring to when the workout asks me if I want to end workout. Unless I’m crazy, it’s been one click for a while now and I do remember the annoying “are you sure?”
For me, I leave the gym and when I start my car and my phone connect to CarPlay, this triggers the prompt to “End Workout”. One click. Maybe I’m crazy, I am getting old lol!
Yes, that is exactly what I was referring to. When you manually end a workout on the apple watch, it always asks for confirmation on OS 10 and 10.1. With 10.2, this confirmation is no longer there.I believe the people you were replying to were all referring to when you manually end a workout yourself, not when the watch detects you've finished a workout and asks you whether you'd like to end it.
With 10.2, this confirmation is no longer there.
What's worrisome is that this kind of battery drain can deplete battery health prematurely. I had that happen to my iPhone 12 Pro and did not realize it until too late, although that was with an iOS upgrade a couple years ago.Anyone that's had the battery drain issue on 10.1, does the beta address the problem? My wife's AWU on 10.1 can't even make it 8 hours, and it's driving her crazy.
There is now.I guess no configuration setting to switch this on/off, right?
I noticed the same - and I love it. It is wonderful to get rid of the extra click.Watch OS 10.2 beta seems to have removed asking "End workout?" after you click end workout. It's about time. It was annoying have to confirm you want to end the workout after you click "x" on end workout.
Same here. Set up watch as new, turned off “recent music,” and then just added one playlist to the watch. It downloaded overnight and everything seems to be working fine. Music app not crashing. May try to ad more playlists in the days to come.I foolishly installed the 10.2 beta and it broke the Music app.….again. The Music tab on the Watch app hangs and won’t display the list of albums/ playlist. I struggle to get the Music app to play on my Watch when out running as it crashes. My mistake!

How do you make it crash?Music app crashes for me on my series 8.

Did they bring back the button for start new workout then? Because they removed that in 10.0/10.1I noticed the same - and I love it. It is wonderful to get rid of the extra click.
