Any given weekend there may be a dozen or more photographers running around. There are probably around ten buildings, 50+ vehicles, tons of rusty stuff, and even the airplane that was blown up for the film 3000 Miles to Graceland. They've really built it up into a destination.

They do charge a small fee for photography but they keep adding more to the location. And if you get tired of shooting they also offer mine tours and kayaking trips on the Colorado river. There is a lot of history in the area. Nelson's Landing at the end of the road is where they used to ship out the gold and silver on the river.
