Thanks - have you bought Divinity Original Sin 2 yet? It’s pricey but it’s also a full console/PC release on iPad.

Titan quest legendary. It has all 3 expansions go with original game.. I have only played up to immortal throne years ago
To which I might add - only slightly off-topic - is currently on sale (23.05.2021) at lowest price yet and has recently been upgraded with controller support 🥳.

On sale????? Seriously?? 😭😭😭 Lol. Oh wait, nothing is ever on sale in Canada lol. Too bad they don’t give refunds on price difference like actual stores do. :)

Here is a Video where you can CLEARLY see the difference of mini LED and HDR. The new screen looks way better.

The comparison begins at 14:10 Min
That’s what I am seeing as well. Blacks are truly black compared to my 2018 pro. Definitely worth it to me. Watching all my HDR content all over again. Eye candy

Check this channel out - use the YouTube app (not site) to get the proper format. These are quite impressive examples of 4K and HDR on the new miniLED screen.

Why isn’t anyone else acknowledging that this new display is a game changer?

I’m picking mine up today - I’ve been using iPads since day one of the original iPad with cellular. I’ll report after I get mine and use it some.

I spent two days going back and forth at the store and unless I was watching HDR content (something I rarely do on an iPad) the difference just wasn't that noticeable. People are taking screen shots of specific frames in specific lighting conditions, etc - for regular old every day usage they looked almost identical to me.

I had a 12.9 before and I could never get used to the size and awkward 4:3 aspect ratio. For me portability is king, the 12.9 is bulky, a pain to one-hand, thicker, heavier, etc. Those are trade-offs I would have to deal with literally every time I handle the device, those trade-offs just weren't worth the slightly better display in normal conditions and nicer blacks and better picture during the off-chance where I watch a movie on my iPad and not my 65-inch OLED TV.

Definitely didn’t down clock this chip for the iPad. Can’t get antutu to load on any of my devices after it’s last update. Hopefully fixed soon.

Funny thing is, watching this on my 2020 11 inch ipad pro, the clarity was excellent. For users who don’t normally watch HDR content , think the benefit of the mini led is negligible.

No regrets. WOuld love the mini-LED for HDR/Dolby Vision video viewing, but this is only a small fraction of my overall iPad Pro use to date (had the 10.5 iPP for 4 years before getting this year’s model). Most TV & fill my watching is a via my lounge 55” Dolby Vision capable TV & 5.1.2 Atmos system. The 12.9” though is simply too big for my use - taking device to work etc. The portability & single handed use of the 11” (e-reader, comic reader, casual browsing from sofa) trumps everything the 12.9” has to offer, whilst absolutely understanding the appeal of the 12.9” iPP itself.

Thrilled will the new 11” machine.
