well i finally ordered a mac pro!

Mine arrived at 0930...it found someone's wireless network in my neighborhood so I haven't hooked up my ISP yet.

I setup AppleTalk with my 'ol iMac and transferred some stuff over via Ethernet.

I have a lot to learn about this new OS coming from 10.2.8! There's all kinds of new stuff.

Got the standard dual 2.66's, plus the Radeon, WiFi/Bluetooth, and the Wireless keyboard/mouse.

You do know the wireless KB and Mouse dont work when booting into windows right?

I stumbled across that issue when I was ordering. I was looking at the Bootcamp specs and it says a wired KB and Mouse. =S

Yes sir I do! I wouldn't use the apple keyboard for windows anyway (only reason to have windows is for counter-strike =P)

Got mine set up. I posted a picture in the setups thread, but figured I'd link it here. I love it. SO FAST! Now I just need more RAM. But that can come after I've finished paying the machine and monitor off.

haha, fair enough! the most work we do in windows is our breeding software and Sims 2. Use OS X as default... as you'd expect
