I got a pair of nightstand lamps that have a wireless charger built into the base.

I got the 7.5W mophie wireless charger at the Apple Store and couldn't be happier. Will buy a couple more to put on my nightstand, kitchen, living room, etc. No more wires!

Going with Mophie pad+ which is the updated 7.5w charger. The new one has 10w capability.
I am looking at this one as well. Is there any drawback to using a fast charging pad like this for overnight charging, such as degraded battery life vs leaving the phone plugged in overnight?

I’m honestly begging people not to spend $50+ on wireless chargers. There’s good name brand wireless chargers for $20, like RAVPower if you look on Slickdeals.

Even a good Samsung is $25.

IKEA makes beautiful simple chargers for under $20

My business pays for this stuff, so don't mind spending a bit more even for a marginal improvement in quality or performance.

IKEA can't even bother to send instructions with some of their crappy furniture. I'd never chance buying electronics from them. Swedish meatballs in the store? Ja. Accessories for $1k+ electronic devices? Nej.

Its not all about price for me. I expect a fast charger for my XS Max that delivers. Lots of the cheaper chargers require a 3rd party AC adapter and some cost more for the higher wattage. For me, mophie has been doing battery charging for quite a while now. Belkin and Logitech are well known as well, but newer to the game. I suggest getting what works best for you, including price.

Question for the wireless chargers capable of 7.5+ watts. If I plug the cable into the computer USB instead of the power adapter, will still charge albeit really slow? I know it defeats the purpose of fast charging, but I just want to know if it will work.
