I just find it boring. My curiosity about the iPhone for gaming is over and I will only be buying apps in the future that actually have some sort of use. Assuming any are ever made or allowed.
I'm finding regular games don't seem to thrill me on the iPhone, but puzzle games seem to best for something to do, like tv commercials, when you got a moment, etc. I never played Sudoku until I got my iPhone, now it's probably my most used app.
Regret:
Enigmo, I only played it twice, did not draw me back in, despite what I just said about puzzle games.
So So:
Dizzy Bee. I like it, but some levels just seem hard when it comes to getting fruits to your goal, and if you ignore trying to save all the fruits, then it can be a bit too easy. Still, I come back to it now and then.
Vay, I wanted to get into a nice RPG. But only after a few tries I wasn't liking the menu system. Page and after page after page to just add equipment, and you have to tap back for everyone just to get back to the game. And at first there was no info about items, or what weapons could be equipped to who. The new update fixes all that, so I may give it a try again. Something to play before bed until I'm tired.
Love:
Flipbook, can't go wrong with it, and most expensive app I've bought. One of the best drawing apps and you can animate.
Motion X Poker, it's easy to pick up and play a little when you have a moment, but hard to put down. I haven't played it extensively, so I think it will be sometime before I finish all the goals and such.
Circulate Prologue. Only a dollar and I enjoy it now and then and it's mellow soothing gameplay.
Budget, very useful app. Better since a recent update, and exports data. Best part are reminders for bills. Since I'm opening the app all the time to enter in spending, I'm sure to get the reminder. And it overall puts my budget into perspective once I entered everything in. And the price is right.
Those are the only ones I can judge fairly so far. I've been careful with my buying and waiting things out, so I don't have much regret.
I think with the initial excitement I and others may have bought too many games at once, so I can't regret some games for buying them and only playing them once. As when I take a break from the current game I like the most I'll start to play the ones collection dust.
