Bluegrass and assorted other Americana.

Right now Run Boy Run's So Sang the Whippoorwill track from album same name.

Some fine fiddling there.

This morning while cleaning up the studio, I bumped into an old iPod touch, stuck it in a speakerdock and fired it up, ended up listening to some Ananda Project. It was less okay to me now than whenever I loaded that gear up with it. Or else I was just not in the mood. Playing the bluegrass etc to recover!

Erasure - Take a chance on me.

Part of "Smash Hits '92" album :D which i have.
Smash hits albums? That takes me back.
I used to buy the Now that's what I call music ones back in the day. But they were purchased on records or tapes so don't have any of them now.
They still sell them, but since you can download stuff so easily these days (or stream), I'm not sure who buys them.

Ah! The Bugs Bunny soundtrack!

;)

B

Never knew that, but, then, this wasn't my childhood soundtrack in that context.....

Meanwhile, am listening to some tracks (Pijem, Cig (Avalanche), Noć Je, and Obećanje - amongst others) from a wonderful Serb group called Boban/Marko Markovic Orchestra.

Rameau, Nouvelles Suites. Some terrible version in mp3 format that I bought a long time ago is what I was listening to earlier today. Now I'm prowling around Apple Music looking to do a little better.

Love the music though.

All I need is a litle more property, about 40 gardeners and a couple of fountains, it sounds like. :)
