A few from Supertramp, easy listening from the 80s, and very enjoyable, too.
Breakfast in America is one of my favorite albums. Love that album, some really good, if not great songs in my opinion.

China Crisis 'Flaunt the Imperfection' produced by Walter Becker of Steely Dan.
Being a big fan of Steely Dan there is noticable influence in the album.
To be fair its more 'Summer music' but its nostalgic for me, so good anytime.
Haydn Op. 20 string quartets on period instruments (Quatuor Mosaïques; Astrée, 2000 release of recordings made in 1990 and 1992). A promised Christmas gift from a sibling. Well, I had all but asked for them... LOL at my age one goes directly to the point when asked what’s on the wish list.
So a nice beginning to the afternoon despite messing around with my budget for 2017. I always try to get it roughed out at year end for the new year, just so I can say I did it. And then do my best to ignore it, of course. What could be a better resolution than that.
Here’s to a wonderful start to the New Year for all, in happiness and good health. To that end I think I’ll continue to stay out of PRSI for awhile, I’ve certainly enjoyed this break time during the holidays!
love it.A little music from the Baroque period: The piece is called "Tenore de Zefiro" and it is by Guido Balestracci with the group L'Amoroso.

love it.
And now, I am watching (and listening to) the New Year's Concert which is being broadcast live, from Vienna.
Going to give this a play; always a great one.Heard "Rubber Soul" (by The Beatles) being played today, while I was at the dentist.
Even in such circumstances, this is a great album, as fresh and bright as when it was first released in 1965.
