Some German Psychedelia -
Wired Mind - Mindstate:Dreamscape
Awesome album and artwork..

How psychedelic is this German psychedelia?

For myself, some Pink Floyd seemed in order. I am listening to the magisterial classic album "The Dark Side Of The Moon."

Wow. Sometimes, you tend to forget just how superlatively and outstandingly good some of this music actually was.

Some heavy, distorted guitar and an almost floating like sound that just carries you along.
Kind of like some Pink Floyd, which is another awesome band in a league of their own.

Enjoying The Rubens live mashup of Kendrick Lamar's 'King Kunta' and Adele's 'Hello' for our national youth radio stations 'Like A Version 12'.

I got to the final episode of "Due South", and was introduced to this folk song...
"Northwest Passage" - Stan Rogers

Heres another song from the series(i might have posted it before)...
"Ride Forever" - Paul Gross

Cheers

saw her live last night at the Ryman, the original Ryman Auditorium.

not that familiar with her stuff before the show, my wife and i received free tickets from our friends .

a very intimate and warm performance.

Hands down my favorite songwriter of his generation. His last few albums haven't worked for me as well as Hello Starling (the song "Wings" is brilliant), Animal Years and Golden Age of Radio, but he's one of the few I've found who consistently proves himself a true wordsmith.

Re: Welch & Rawlings at the Ryman. I'm rarely envious of others. Rarely, not always. That must've been grand.

The letter "L" seems to have taken a prominent role tonight (my iPod's alphabetical listing possibly offering some explanation)....

First up was a Norwegian sort of new-age/psychedelic group from the 60s called LMN (Langsomt Mot Nord) followed by Link Wray. Great stuff.

Edit: And I have now graduated to listening to Luciano Pavarotti - for some strange reason, my iPod thinks he comes under the letter "L" as well......

Pavarotti is not a bad way to go.
