Oh, brilliant; absolutely brilliant choice - one of my favourites - a favourite also of my late father. Do enjoy.

A charming soundtrack to a very nice movie adaptation of an outstanding book.
Some wonderful "Mexican Spaghetti Western..." music, such as Danger Mouse, Dean Martinez, The Iguanas, Chingón, and so on.....
No idea on the Family Guy reference as I've never seen it, but a couple of classics right there.
An old and reliable pleasure: The CD (St Petersburg Philharmonic) was bought in the early 90s with an outrageous (then) price tag of something well in excess of £20. At the time, I gasped, gritted teeth, hissed, and surrendered hard-earned monies as a poorly paid junior lecturer. Worth every penny/cent.
It is a recording of Sergei Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No 2 (one of my all time favourites) - with Mikhail Rudy and Mariss Jansons - (and yes, there is also some P.I. Tchaikovsky)....

Reliving my youth with a post of ELO. Got to see them in concert in Osaka back in the 70's when I was at school in Kobe. Fantastic concert.
