Running through various Duran Duran and AC/DC albums and having a bottle of a limited run of Lagunitas.

I'm not going to say that The Great Southern Trendkill is Pantera's best album, but it seems it's very often overlooked and, and I hate writing this, but for lack of a better term under appreciated. I'd say it's definately their heaviest, and does include a couple of my favorite tunes of theirs. Great stuff.

This cover isn't bad either.

I don't know if you are familiar with them or not, but this song is one of my favorites and it never disappoints!

TGSTK is one of my favorite albums from them. I absolutely love this album from start to finish. The way they kick it off the album sets the tone for me every time.

This is definately a different take on it and it isn't bad at all!

I am not, but that definitely woke me up!

I would think it is one of their heaviest songs. Always puts a smile on my face from the first few seconds of the song.

Off the same album, this is one is also really good.

Pantera - Floods

They have so many good songs. Very sad to know that two of the members, the founding members have passed away. The drummer and guitarist who were brothers.

Taking care of business:

:D

[doublepost=1530190009][/doublepost]BTW, I haven't had this much fun with music since I started digging back into the CD collection (and even adding a few). I think that while it's not quite the long, engaging ritual of vinyl, it's still more hands on and involved (in the best way) vs. clicking some files on a computer :D It gives me a strange pleasure seeing our music in these glorious little jewel boxes.

I have had enough of medieval music.

For now, only Madness will suffice.
Absolutely adored It Must Be love and still do. Just a fantastic song. Foreigner was and still is a great band, too. Pretty sure I wore out my cassette for the latter. They had some of the best ballads of the 80s until that gap-toothed Canadian showed up on the soft rock scene and became an overnight sensation. Sigh.

The 80s I remember, and loved some of the music.

The gap-toothed Canadian is a reference that escapes me. I don't know what half these guys look like - that doesn't interest me, their music (if it is any good) does.
