Just a little something to get the morning going:

Fear Factory - "Slave Labor"

Fear Factory - "Self Bias Resistor"

Oh man, it's been too long since I last listened to Demanufacture, but I'll probably never forget the first time I heard it. Body Hammer and H-K (Hunter-Killer) are some of the best metal songs produced in the 90's. Yes, there were quite a few, but those two songs definitely qualify!

Herrera sure is a beast on the drums, click track and triggers notwithstanding.

Agreed on all accounts! I first heard them on KNAC's Manic Metal Monday's and was blown away! Have been a huge fan ever since.

I have met Herrera on several different occasions at different venues and he is such a down to earth dude. Even bought him a breakfast burrito one year at NAMM. Ha!

That's pretty cool! Yeah, I've heard many stories about him being pretty cool with fans and such. Herrera and Gene Hoglan both, by all accounts, seem to be pretty swell dudes. Incidentally, great drummers as well! Makes me wonder if there's a correlation; personally I haven't met a drummer I didn't, at least on some level, like. And I did once upon a time play drums myself, soooo...

Hahahaha... True story! Met Gene also at NAMM, and he was a pretty cool dude too! I think you are on to something.

I'm really not sure. I was listening to it on Apple Music.
Probably the original then, or one of the later re-issues. Parsons re-released the album last year in a 35th Anniversary set. A pretty expensive set but a real cool thing for fans. I'll get it one of these days.
