I’ve been on an Eminem trip since Kamikaze was released a few weeks ago and have been revisiting a lot of his work. MMLP transports me back to being 16-17 years. Here’s one of my favourites from Encore.

Bad Company fan here too!

Having read some of your posts you obviously have a (good) head on your shoulders, so that wasn't a surprise! But man, that song, and band, really is something else.

Have a good one!

I've since switched to something else, namely some Jimi Hendrix. Now, I realize I'm one of those special few that first started playing the guitar years ago because of Mr. Hendrix, but having also always appreciated Eric Clapton's style of playing this seems like a fairly obvious performance to link here. One of my favorite songs of Jimi's as well, so there's that.

Philip Glass: Symphony No 2.

I like your tastes.

I have Metamorphosis.

Mind you, when I am listening to Philip Glass, I am not fit for human company.

It's how I got from Thursday to today, actually.

Today with the brisk weather I've moved on to some music suitable for cutting plastic to put over the inside of the upstairs windows in another couple weeks... I'm hoping for a long Indian Summer but not banking on it. Hence assorted rock picks to distract from the meaning of my chosen tasks du jour. Some Clapton, some Joplin... put the sky on notice "don't send that snow in here any time soon, we're fierce down here and will resist!"

Actually, an almost endless cycle of Philip Glass seemed most fitting for that time period that elapsed between Thursday and this morning.

Three albums from The Cure, from my perspective*, their 3 best, titles below in ranked order (which is reverse listening order :D):

1. Disintegration
2. Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me
3. Pornography

* #1 actually isn't debatable ...
