But Charles Trenet, Django Reinhardt, and Astrud Gilberto are all personal favourites of mine (as they were also, - especially Charles Trenet - favourites of my father's.) Lovely music, and some great choices.

You don't know how many people stayed up that Friday night after The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson to watch Friday Night Videos on NBC to catch that premiere of Thriller. Not only could he put on a performance, but how many concepts did he create that still exist today.

Well, firstly (and I won't use that awful acronym which denotes a stupid snigger), you don't want to see my iPod classic - there is over 90GB of music and not far off 10,000 tracks on it.

Indeed, sometimes, I'm not entirely sure of what is on it myself - I discovered some strange stuff last night when scrolling down, stuff I didn't even know I had, let alone had added to the iPod.

Anyway, you have some very interesting stuff on that playlist, and some music collection.

The Byrds, Simon & Garfunkel, Supertramp, The Jam would all tick my boxes. ELO, and Steely Dan, too, but the Stones, a lot less so.

However, you have Los Lobos included in that lot - now, that is interesting music. Love it.
