Heh. Not even close! That would actually make a pretty good lite beer commercial. While I dearly love Todd's Utopia, his keyboardist Roger Powell was one of the biggest d*ckheads in the music industry, and HE wrote/performs the worst song EVER here (ironically he also wrote two of Utopia's most magical songs, Windows and Caravan).

One of my "Desert Island" top-10 albums.
I finally upgraded my stereo system to a 5.1 system in 2010, and by then the 5.1 SACD/DVD-A push had pretty much died, but I did find some deals scouring Amazoid. This one was available used, 1 copy, $185, and I couldn't justify spending that much. About a year later I made my last house payment, and needed to celebrate. What's-her-name had just broken up with me (after 8 years) and then I remembered this disc. Amazoid still had it, and I bought it. Can't remember who did the Surround mix, guessing it was Steven Wilson. One track, they couldn't find the master tapes, so they gradually panned the stereo master around the room, slowly. Neat effect but not like the rest of the album (which is only 40 minutes long, iirc). Thanks for the reminder, I need to dig this one out again!

Rundgren/Utopia are one of those bands, for me anyway, can be really good are incredibly horrible.
They've chosen "incredibly horrible" for this one... :p

But not this one, this one is gold. :p
