Perhaps the best version of Faure's Requiem to ever exist - Netherlands Chamber Choir with Limberg Symphony Orchestra. CD version pictured below, but it's on YouTube, Spotify, etc.

Definitely recommend listening if you like 19th century choral music. Or even if you don't, it's just beautiful!

Another great one in my Folder - Norman Blake, "Whiskey Before Breakfast." An album I grew up with, actually. And yes, "Folder" is intentionally capitalized - that's what I call a local music library. If you have a bunch of music on a hard drive, you have a Folder.

A new one! Here VP paired up with four male vocalists, often singing in unison a capella, but then occasionally breaking into 4-part harmony, very EW&F, LOVE it!

Let's keep The Eagles theme going...

Almost a Tom Petty song... kinda... Mike Campbell wrote the music, but Petty wasn't interested in it at the time. The Heartbreakers were recording Southern Accents and it didn't fit the feel of the album. Producer Jimmy Iovine told Campbell to send it to Don Henley. Henley, who also wrote the lyrics, loved it!
