I thought I was fairly familiar with Funkadelic's catalog, but this track kept appearing on my EweTube feed, and I'd never clicked on it. 65 years on this rock is way too long to have lived, only to hear this tonight for the first time.

I like this! I'll admit, I only listened to the first half, but from what I heard, I really like it.

Listening to this here. I discovered it in 2018 and listen to it rather frequently. Evokes quite surreal vibes to me.

I got a bunch of Bach's organ works (the 16 tracks in the opened folder) on my hard drive. Love it! Lucky to have quite an extensive Bach folder, as you can see.

This SSD holding my music is 500 GB, and 400 of those gigabytes is filled up with music. How I've collected it all, I have no idea. I bought a few bluegrass box sets a couple months back, so I have a lot of bluegrass, too. I have a lot of everything, which is what I want.

Very impressive collection.

Tonight, for some strange inexplicable reason, - must be my mood - I seem to be listening to some (several CDs, not just tracks) from (the inestimable) Philip Glass.

There are evenings, (nights, mornings) when nothing else will suffice....

Thank you!

As you know, I love Philip Glass, too. I’ve been a bit slow to discover more of his music (the four pieces I know of are Glassworks, Music in 12 Parts, Koyaanisqatsi, and his soundtrack to The Hours). With all music, I really need to sit with it for a while before moving on. But Philip Glass’s music is so intricate that I really need to carefully listen to it and appreciate it before I can really feel like I’ve actually listened to the piece. But also, I just really love the music and I want to keep listening to it. Same goes for Bach, too.

Others (that is, other pieces by Philip Glass) worth seeking out are Dancepieces, Philip Glass Symphony No 2, and Glassworks (as these are on my computer's iTunes, along with the pieces you have already mentioned).
