Max Cooper, 3D Reworks 001

This is an electronic music EP, done in a "binaural" recording.
From what I remember, a "binaural" recording is normally a live music performance (usually classical) that is recorded with two small mics inside a styrofoam head, and what those two mics hear in the auditorium (the musicians, the reflections and reverbs in the hall, the old lady who keeps clearing her throat four rows behind you, etc) are exactly what goes into your two earcups of IEMs, so you hear exactly what you would have heard had you been there in the hall.
Now, how does this work with electronic music? I'm not really sure; my guess is that the final stereo track was just mixed/mastered on headphones, rather than speakers. It's quite an experience, I'm streaming it right now from Apple Music. Worth a listen if you like listening thru cans.

Segregation, determination, demonstration, integration
Aggravation, humiliation, obligation to our nation

So you got someone to boss around
It makes ya' feel big now
You drift until you brutalize
Make your first kill now

See my honey in the streets
It's desolate but where she likes to meet
Economies gets weaker
Reactionaries stronger
As they get satisfaction on their knees

Anyone else think that Dennis Quaid would be the perfect actor to play Willie Nelson? He does kind of resemble him, and actually sings and plays guitar.

Willie is one of my all time favorites🥰

I know he can't compare to Willie, but he sure could play him...imo.

This one puts tears in my eyes

He probably would but I don't like Dennis Quaid. I used to until I found out about his political leanings..

Believe me, I feel the same way about a lot of the Hollyweirdo's...but if I like their acting and they are just normal people, I can ignore their personal life. That is unless they are real jerks or immoral deviants. I know pretty much nothing about Quaid, except that he has a couple brothers in the acting world. I have no idea where he leans politically. I've never seen him speak about politics. Doesn't seem to have much of a public life....at least I don't remember the last time I saw any entertainment news about him. My only point was that imo he looks like he could be Willie's brother, and that he also sings and plays guitar.

I love me some Vivaldi that is for sure.
While "Spring" (in the legendary Four Seasons by Vivaldi) is almost a cliché, as it is so well known, personally, I prefer, "Summer", and, perhaps, surprisingly, "Winter", although, as it happens, (and, as I have written endlessly on these threads), I loathe, detest, and abominate that actual season in reality.

Some of my favorite classical music for a peaceful, introspective Wednesday morning....

My son plays this for me when I've had a bad day🥰

In fact, we were just talking about the nocturne in my Musicology class today, and its feminist implications, at least historically. Of course this is largely, if not completely, lost to history. But it was interesting to see the nocturne's origins. There has been a lot of interesting research about the nocturne, in the past 30 years especially.

My son had piano lessons for 13 years. I have been to many recitals and competitions. I enjoy classical music very much. I just don't listen to it as often as I should. Music is my very favorite form of entertainment. It is rare for me to not have something playing at any given time. My time with the classics this morning was very enjoyable and soothing. I'm going to make an effort to listen to classical more often.😊
