What are you listening to? Part III

Revisiting a video of this concert from three years ago (I was in the audience). That's my former piano teacher from high school and his quartet. I've played at the Outpost many times—and that's a nice piano. Gosh, I miss seeing/playing with them so much. Will be nice to get back into that this summer. I've played with the bass player quite extensively.

Laserdance - 1990th Italo Dance Style Synthesizer MUSIC

I know that this is for most an absolute Nerd Style music, bus as you know in 1993 there were
only Intel 386 PC, Amiga, C64 and Ataris on the market. CD-ROM technology began, but no
internet-based downloads, Infos, music or something else...

Decades ago we are playing Turrican, Pirates, Civilization or Wing Commander and this
💫 Star Wars ✨ style (background) music comes up when we drive 🇩🇪 our first cars !

This 💫 album is from 2016, and I've began to got 🖥️ retro
feelings if I use my A1312 (Apples Best 😜 Sound machine)...​

Yeah.... there are a couple of tunes on this that I like but the rest of the LP... meh. god only knows is the worst... imho.

I feel no need to boo. Your opinion is yours and can't be wrong.

The etude (first movement) of Tchaikovsky's "12 Pieces for Piano of Medium Difficulty." Really, this piece isn't "medium difficulty," it is insanely difficult. Just starting to learn it, and as I do with most classical pieces, I'm learning it from back to front. That's a great technique of learning a piece because it gives you a lot of context as to where the piece goes (because you're learning it backwards).

Taking you all out of the mainstream with John Zorn's "Cobra," which was never formally published (on purpose) so that the performers can interpret the piece in a variety of different ways. These two recordings are of the same piece, but notice how different they are - really everything about them. Instrumentation, length of piece, size of ensemble, etc. is all different.
