Gorecki’s Symphony No. 3, which some of you may be familiar with because it was actually a hit in the 90s. I love it.
I remember when it was a hit, for that is when I first heard it, and, in turn, that prompted me to head out and buy it as a CD from the sort of excellent music stores - staffed by knowledgeable, welcoming and enthusiastic individuals - that were found in city centres at the time.

Haven't listened to any Singers Unlimited in awhile, mainly because it gave me PTSD from a surgery last year (I listened to the group consistently as I was recovering). Definitely less so now, thankfully, so I can enjoy it a lot more without thinking about that. Such an underrated and wonderful group, who I've taken a lot from.

Question for anyone here who listens to BBC Internet Radio. I recently downloaded a list of their stations, and according to it, BBC Radio 3 should be a mix of classical, jazz, and World music. I've been tuning in often over the last few weeks, and it's been 100% classical.
Did they change their format? Do they have a jazz-centric station? TIA.

Other Brother and I have been busy exchanging emails (about our shared childhood and teenage years, when we bought Beatles albums together) and trading Beatles tracks - we both love The Beatles (and have loved them since childhood).

So, we have been spending an afternoon listening to the Beatles.

I'll Follow The Sun - a lesser known gem - from the Beatles (one my brother sent me earlier this afternoon).

Even on their less well regarded albums, the Beatles managed at least one or two delightful tracks.

And, on their best albums, almost every track was brilliant.
