This is AWESOME! That's my piano teacher, actually. He's touring with this group right now and sent this to me when I asked who he's playing with/what he's doing. I’m so lucky to know such talented people!

I love Hiromi! I haven't seen/heard this clip before, Canon in D (by whom I don't know, anyone?) She throws a metal ruler into the piano for effects, and (from the comments at least) this was an improvised piece for which someone else transcribed, which is fun to follow along with.
And it was uber-amazing the way she added a half-beat to stay in time with the audience, obviously a bunch of white people :p. Saw a video of, damn can't remember his name right now, where the audience started clapping along on 1 and 3, he got the rest of the band to drop out for 8 bars or so, and added an extra beat to get the audience on 2 and 4, and you could see the band members crack up!

The folk song "Rock About my Saro Jane" (or maybe Sara? don't know for sure), which from what I've read, dates to the Civil War. I don't know who's performing the version I have, but it's from my digitized LP collection. It isn't on Spotify or YouTube, from what I can find - and if I don't know who performed it, I doubt I'll have much luck finding a link, unfortunately.

Is this it? It shows up as both Saro and Sarah by the same artist.😊

Here is my YT search link. Bunch of hits there.
