Was I constantly looking at this Wacom 32” Cintique Pro at local store instead of the computer needed to power it? YES.

Do I have the artistic know how to use it to the max? Not yet.

Have I stopped thinking about it since then? No.

Am I planning my computer purchase around getting one of these too? Uh, I really shouldn’t.

Nice. I see you skipped right over the 24 and went straight for the 32. I have not stopped thinking about the 24 myself. Wacom has it refurbished for 1800. I don’t mind refurbished. They are not as good as apple refurbished but good enough and have a warranty. If you are building a computer for photoshop you don’t need a crazy graphics card. It uses more memory and cpu than graphics card. You could get away with an iMac or even Mac mini with an i7.

Thank you for this. I am sometime away from a giant Wacom, perhaps when I replace my 2013 iMac (which just got a boost of life thanks to my purchasing an MBA).

I may pick up a small one to see if it is the route I want to go.

I hope you get a 24 Wacom soon. Would like to hear your thoughts about it.

My iMac is 2012 so it does not support 4K. I am also short from enough for a 24. I may upgrade my Mac sooner than the wacom. The problem is the wacom doesn’t fit my current setup in terms of compatibility and space. I am currently using a Wacom Pro 16. I have it running at 1440p scaled to 1080. This works perfect for the 16 and fits nicely below my iMac. but I wouldn’t want to do that with the 24. Plus the 24 would block my iMac screen. The wacom cintiq pro 16 seems to fit my current setup better.

Thank you for giving me more of a reason to get it. Once ups delivers my 12” macbook tomorrow I’ll take a walk to bestbuy to pick up the 500gb.

Will it be better to use the whole drive as a time machine backup? I was thinking about making a 50 gb partition to use as a startup bootdisk.

I really want a Chromebook to replace my 4 year old Asus laptop, the wifi card is buggered so currently using a USB dongle.
Seen this post?
Tried to replace my mobile life with a Chromebook. Didn't go well when I needed an Ethernet port in the server closet the other day. Back to my favorite Mac ever. It amazes me how much they hold their resale value.

I do.

I ordered one made to measure - ergonomic, leather, arm rests, casters, can be raised or lowered (I'm quite short) in 2014 from a German company (Klöber), and have never regretted it. Superb and supportive chair - and while quite expensive - it was worth every cent (or penny).
More than 2000 euro?

Not too far off that, although, as I bought a second chair from them at the same time, a show room chair, (the Moteo "conference swivel chair"), I negotiated a discount.

Anyway, the actual chair was to order made by Klöber, is part of their Moteo line, and is described or classed as "an Executive Management Task Chair".

It suits me, and fits me perfectly and easily the most comfortable (and supportive because of the ergonomics) chair I have ever had.

Do you have an ergonomic chair now?

Not really, it it’s not a bad chair. I was allowed to keep it when leaving a job.

I’d like a longer desk now and to replace this chair. I was just fine until about a week ago. :(

I hope this is a temporary phase.

How would this brand compare to Wagner?
