Any place but here or there....
What did you decide on in the end?

Veering toward PCs due to software incompatibility on Apple’s end (Apple will not yield to this either). The software still works with PCs and it’s time for me to learn another platform (Good for work too).

Perhaps one day if Apple get their stuff together with the MBPs, I’ll come back. I wish I could stay put, but for now I need to look elsewhere.

Good luck with it.

Debating between a Sony X950G and an LG B8 tv. I have a nice enough 43" Sony now, but I am starting to think of an upgrade to 65" and all the bells and whistles. The 43" sits far enough away to make some viewing difficult.

Do I need it ? I do want it ;)

Cruising through the pre-cut fabrics at an online vendor's site... think it's gonna come down to this bundle of strips by a favorite designer. The eternal/infernal lack of sunny days around here this late into spring might have something to do with the appeal of the bright colors. They'll end up in a bargello wallhanging one of these days if I cave in and buy them.

An air conditioner/cooler. Horribly hot last summer.

Anyone recommend one? Up to £200?

● Capcom’s Marvel Super Heroes Home Arcade Game: Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men Children of the Atom, The Punisher

“With over 30 years of experience in consumer products, I have never seen such an involved or passionate fan community,” said Scott Bachrach, CEO, Tastemakers, LLC. “We have watched tens of thousands of fans across our social media platforms request some of these new titles and we are really excited to be turning their hopes for our brand into a reality.”

Arcade1Up continues to solidify the fact that retro gaming is not a trend, but a lifestyle. Support from fans and success at retail has allowed them to continue to innovate and bring new titles to market.

HomePod. I keep spotting it for $249 at Best Buy but keep forcing myself not to buy one.

Any special occasion coming up?

A birthday with a zero at the end?

A job started (or sometimes, equally worth celebrating) finished?

An anniversary? An achievement?

As it turns out, we went to the gallery today to look at the print, and I was surprised to discover that I did not love it. It is no longer on my list of things to resist buying.

However - we found three other prints that were so compelling, we decided they had to be in our home.

So we brought one home with us, put another on layaway, and the third is being re-matted for pickup in the next couple of weeks. The art budget is blown, it seems.

Did not see that coming.

Enjoy.

Sometimes, you just do not see that sort of thing coming.

Are you an ‘M’ owner/user? Been considering the ‘mini-M’ myself(the CL).

Yes, I am.

As it happens, I have had a M6 (rangefinder but film) for years, so yes, I am 'M' owner and user.

Actually, I have two serious lenses - summilux - a 35mm and a 50mm - and have an aged noctilux put aside which I am looking forward to using - for this camera.

Yes, this is not cheap, but I value build quality, less weight, and serious "speed" re light with lenses.

As a short, middle aged female, I love the form and (relatively light weight) weight - which is serious, sturdy, but almost invisible - of the camera, and the formidable capacity of the lightweight (but magnificent) summilux (f1.4) lenses - they allow me to shoot indoors without flash in daylight without any problem.

I used to have a Nikon F100 - a great camera, but too big and - frankly, too uncomfortably heavy - for the sort of street and urban photography that I enjoy.

The CL is supposed to be brilliant, but I have neither seen, nor held, nor ever used one.

When funds permit, I may (probably will) migrate to the M10; until then, I shall enjoy - and greedily guard - each roll of film on my M6.

Currently, 2 things:
1. Samsung S10+
2. Samsung 49” Curved monitor (to replace my 2 ACER 144Hz monitors)

I have done well thus far. Been thinking about it for a few weeks now...

I lost my battle. I was trying to stay with my V30+ but the G8 ThinQ was just too tempting.

For $310 with trade in, it's a steal though.

Fantastic!!!

I’m not a “serious” photographer by any measure, but a film-rangefinder ‘M’ is, IMHO, the holy grail of cameras. Soooo envious! ;)

It’s funny that, despite being a gen-X-er, brought up on bits-n-bytes, I value the artistry and quality of “analog” stuff more.

Been weighing different options, and ive never liked SLRs specifically because of their size and weight, which become major impediments when traveling and street photography. The advent of small “mirrorless” interchangeable lens cameras has once again piqued my interest, and the CL is the front runner. Might seem odd, but im willing to pay more for less “tech features” or “bells and whistles”. Simple & minimalistic, light & small; thats all i want.

Personally, while I love the weight (quite impressive - solid, as it is made from metal, yet sufficiently light weight not to be an impediment - I used to look for reasons not to take my F100 with me as it was too heavy to carry around comfortably) and size (exquisitely small, yet beautifully ergonomic), I also really like the fact that there is little to distract you in the 'bells & whistles" department with the M6; it is a case of frame and focus your shot, taking care that you have sufficient light - and the summilux lenses allow me to shoot in some very low light settings, and then press the shutter with a lovely quiet yet solid click.

However, with film you really have to think before you press the shutter; you don't have the hundreds of wasted shots you would have with a digital camera. And of course, you don't have your shots to hand instantly, as you do with digital. They have to be developed. With a roll of 36, I am quite good at getting one or two extra pictures or shots for that roll, but that's it.

The CL is a gorgeous little camera, solidly built, too, and revered in the Leica world.
