two fold ocd question

1- over time this won't weaken the back glass, tapping even through a polycarbonate case right? I would imagine drops are a lot more force than something like this, to contribute to damage

2- could this throw off camera's ability to focus over time?

kinda liking double tap to lock screen

I tried backtap for VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN but it's totally useless since the screen has to be unlocked for it to work. I wanted to tap while phone is in my pocket rather than "HEY SIRI TURN VOLUME UP (or DOWN)" which I find annoying.

My new Back Tap settings are "nothing!" I had Control Center and launch Halide, but one was always opening unexpectedly. Then I switched to just Halide on triple tap. No good. Then just Halide on double tap. Same.

Just too many false alarms on iPhone 11 Pro. Is it any better on iPhone 12 models?

I just realize I had this! Definitely 'Screen Shot', getting the two buttons in the right order was a pain.
That's enough for now.

Double Tap: Lock Screen

I'm hoping this will cut down on the number of inadvertent screenshots I take...if I remember to use it, that is.

Double Tap = mute/unmute
Triple = Screen shot

I just discovered you can mute/unmute all sounds without using hardware toggle. This is a neat trick with double tap.

Tried using this as:

Double Tap: Start new note in Drafts
Triple Tap: Start new recording in Otter.ai

But had to turn it off because it's way to sensitive as to what supposedly constitutes a "Back Tap". I would set phone down on table and it would open a new note in Drafts. Riding the subway reading on my phone and we'd go through a bumpy section of track and it would start recording. So many things that just jiggle the phone other than back taps would set it off. Basically can't use it except for things that are not disruptive if they happen by accident.
